After a bit of thought, I might go along with the Krenim temporal weapon. Nothing like erasing your opponents and their entire civilization from the space-time continuum.

Well since DOOM was made into a movie which was pretty sci-fi if you ask me. The BFG would be my weapon of choice.

From a sc-fi (no fantasy) point of view its hard to not pick the lightsaber..

I forget what its called, but that weapon on Farscape that D'Argo uses, its just such a sick design, it might not be the most powerful, just my personal fave.
