Then one day my mom read the lyrics over my shoulder while I was watching it, and now she thinks I'm nuts.

I fell kinda lucky then.My Ma dived into the deep end and became an anime fan a couple years ago[Still has seen more Chobits and Fruits Basket than i have]

Anyways i got ahold of the Manga yesterday and i really did like it.Ichigo was super-cute and the whole enviromental messages seemed like a neat change from alot of similar stories[Kinda light on it in Iss.1 but im guessing it gets more attention as time goes on].I still cant belive a finless porpoise can be real though 😕

I prefer dolphins. 😊 but porpoises r cute, I guess...

I dont know how you guys dont like mew mew power.................what the heck is dubed

Dubbed means they replace the dialogue (dub it) in another language, in the case of anime it generally means they replace the Japanese dialogue with English.

And how could I not like Mew Mew Power? Easy. I've seen Tokyo Mew Mew and cannot believe how utterly destroyed it was when edited and dubbed.

Their dubbed names....cry they're terrible.

The names are not impotant i mean..........comn....there just names,and, just give mew mew power another chance cause in a while that show grows on you 😕 You can also like both and then have tokyo mew mew as your favorite

....do you know anything about the original Tokyo Mew Mew? I don't WANT something as horrid as MMP to grow on me, I don't want to like it. They completely changed the entire show. They changed the whole main storyline!

Yeah, I'm a bit of an anime elitist, I admit it. But I at least will give a dubbed anime a chance. MMP had it's chance, and 4kids failed miserably.

It doesn't fit her character. They completely changed their ages, they changed the main storyline of the whole show, they cut tons of scenes...

And I don't care if it's 'more English'. I prefer my anime unaldulterated, which means, for the most part, uncut in Japanese with English subtitles.
