Celest, once again, I totally agree with you. I was just in the Ravenclaw's room and I read what RebelPhoe said about answering questions. At first I was like, "wow, that sounds good." but then I started thinking that if we waited 4 everyone to submit questions, that would take even longer!!!!

A challenge and is short and sweet is what I say.

I think we've taken enough time but I'm going to wait for a few more replies and then hopefully be able to post the fourth challenge by the end of tomorrow! 😄 There's just one thing we're going to need the other House's help on so I'm going to post in the inter house thread now.

aaa/ As for the Slytherins prefects I think ROg did the right job! I'm sorry if AD and Orly were bussy and had other things to do they should have said that in advance, and as I suggested before every prefect should assign his/her deputy when s/he would be absent. It is very irresnponble to be absent for a motnh or two, when you are expect to perform certain activities, and on the top of everything not making any arrangment, and then come back and claim your posstion back! Each position bearies a certain doze of responsibility! IF ROGUE25 hasn't assigned new Slytherins prefect we would have still waited for the results, cause a mamber of another house (I think Frodo) posted Slytherins entry ! and I Think Ravenonly is a female !!!!

and I think we are acting a bit irresponsible and being so late ! We should hurry up.. and I heard we said we would sustain from any task that has to do with writing cause everyone is tired from writing !!!

Actually i'm a guy and Rogue assigned me in desperation. 😬 as for the challenge Slythrin has assembled quite a few questions and are now in the process of sifting out the best ones.

a) prefects rnt allowed 2 post in other houses's common rooms.
b) we'r still not sure what 2 do yet as a challenge. we will let u know a.s.a.p. but at least give a little space 4 us 2 make r decision.

Wow, alot's happened since last night in here.

Firstly - Rogue, I was completely aware of everything you wrote about the Slytherin prefects, my 'problem' was that now we have three male prefects, how are we going to fix that?

As for the challenge - Celestial - you've said it was in a mess and Tassie said earlier she didn't know what was going on which is actually confusing to me 😖. I don't see what's so confusing about it because in that suggestion post I made, tasks 1 & 2 were pretty much set, it was just take 3 that had 3 ideas and I wanted to know which one people thought was best. Rogue said we should make that one a story about the tournament, that's fine we can use that angle for whichever choice people chose... but no one's said which one they like 😕 and about the posting in other Houses for questions, I only did that because Rogue posted that I should go ahead with the idea. I don't think it would take very long for the houses to come up with 2 simple questions each and I only ever proceeded in the first place because most people who posted in here said they wanted the triwazard idea in the first place. I saw that when I came in, it wasn't my idea.

But hey, if people have changed their mind, think it's getting too confused or not organised and want to do something else then it's upto them, this is a democratic House after all 🙂 - it's just going to take even longer to come up with something else now when this challenge is almost ready.

Challenge update - Please Read

Ok, under current confusion and people calling for a new challenge, I'm not sure what action to take as prefect other then continue with the one we have until people say not to and post a finalised challenge idea ready to announce to other Houses. Therefore, I am going to make the challenge we have now clearer until just in case we decide to go through with it.

TRIWIZARD TOURNAMENT:

Task 1) A Potion/Charm Each House can choose to 'make' a potion or charm for ONE of the following options:
*Love
*Protection
*Sleeping
*Good Luck
*Good Health
*Money

Now, for this task each House must research and list all of the ingrediants they would use for the potion/charm that they choose and why they have chosen them, then write the directions, the supposed outcome and any possible side effects.

Task 2) 'Question/Answer' Round - 8 questions in total, 2 submitted from each House. When answering, only answer the questions from the other Houses hence each House shall answer 6 questions each.

Task 3) The Creative Writing Challenge - This is the one where people are getting confused. As I have no choice and time is unning out, I shall narrow it down and incorporate Rogues idea. It will be a short piece (2 paragraphs max) from the viewpoint of a prominent House member e.g. Gryff can use Harry, Slyth can use Draco, Huff's can use Cedric and Raven's can use Cho - or any other member the House so wishes, they can even use their Head's e.g. Snape. The story will be about the Tournament itself and how the chosen character thinks it's goiong, will go, will end up like, any suspicions, regrets, gossip etc basically anything. It's wide open to allow for creativity, as long as it's sounds like the character would say and think those things and it's about the Tournament.

Now, if people decide not to go ahead with this that's fine. However, if anyone wants to change task 3 for example to this new idea of a fanart challenge or a theory challenge for example then please say so.

As for the the worry about the other Houses taking long to come up with questions, as far as I can see they are already thinking of some BUT just in case, I made the Q & A Round Task 2 so we can post the official announcement and at least start working on the other two tasks while the questions are being submitted, then later I, eezy or the Heads can announce the Task 2 questions. That way the challenge goeas ahead without any further delay.
