You're right, it would be much easier - but then we'd have to make whichever one we choose abit longer with more pre-requisites which would be ok I guess.
Although, if we stick with this one, alot more people might be able to get involved because there is more to do and people can work on different things. But hey, whatever the majority decide 🙂 and if we go ahead the other Houses are still thinking of questions which is good just in case we use that task or all of them.
Slytherin doesn't have 3 prefects. AD is no longer a prefect. He's been removed from that position for obvious reasons.
I already told him this. I've discussed the matter with him, there is no problem. It is over. There is no sense in us Gryffindor's carrying on and the Slytherin's aren't even complaining about it. AD isn't even complaining about it.
Wow ok, I didn't realise A.D was no longer prefect. I realise you had to do what you had to do, I don't have an issue with Raven or It's Magic being prefects other then I think it would have been more apt to have PM'ed the other female Slytherin's about it first or after Orli turned it down just to make sure. Like I've mentioned a few times there was Laviera and Ladygrim and there is always sense in trying to make things as fair as possible even if it means changing things after they've been decided but hey, whatever. I'm sure Raven and It's Magic will be great active prefects.
I read what you wrote RebelPhoe about the new challenge. Is everything clear?? Are we ready to go, or do we need a "few" more minutes to decide??
I'd like to announce the challenge today, if need be.
This Triwizardy Tasks, seems like it's gonna take a little more time than the others becuz of all the different parts. Perhaps, instead of having the entire challenge due a certain date like we did with the others, maybe we should just divide the dates up. The First Task due date is this, the Second Task due date is this .. . etc. You know what I mean??
This is what RebelPhoe wrote in the Sorting Challenge. It seems good to me. What do ya think?? It has a variety of things that people can get involved in, ya know??
Challenge update - Please Read
Ok, under current confusion and people calling for a new challenge, I'm not sure what action to take as prefect other then continue with the one we have until people say not to and post a finalised challenge idea ready to announce to other Houses. Therefore, I am going to make the challenge we have now clearer until then just in case we decide to go through with it.
TRIWIZARD TOURNAMENT:
Task 1) A Potion/Charm. Each House can choose to 'make' a potion or charm for ONE of the following options:
*Love
*Protection
*Sleeping
*Good Luck
*Good Health
*Money
Now, for this task each House must research and list all of the ingrediants they would use for the potion/charm that they choose and why they have chosen them, then write the directions, the supposed outcome and any possible side effects.
Task 2) 'Question/Answer' Round - 8 questions in total, 2 submitted from each House. When answering, only answer the questions from the other Houses hence each House shall answer 6 questions.
Task 3) The Creative Writing Challenge - This is the one where people are getting confused. As I have no choice and time is running out, I shall narrow it down and incorporate Rogue's idea. It will be a short piece (2 paragraphs max) from the viewpoint of a prominent House member e.g. Gryff can use Harry, Slyth can use Draco, Huff's can use Cedric and Raven's can use Cho - or any other member the House so wishes, they can even use their Head's e.g. Snape. The story will be about the Tournament itself and how the chosen character thinks it's going, will go, will end up like, any suspicions, regrets, gossip etc basically anything. It's wide open to allow for creativity, as long as it's sounds like the character would say and think those things and it's about the Tournament.

Now, if people decide not to go ahead with this that's fine. However, if anyone wants to change task 3 for example to this new idea of a fanart challenge or a theory challenge for example then please say so.
As for the the worry about the other Houses taking long to come up with questions, as far as I can see they are already thinking of some BUT just in case, I made the Q & A Round Task 2 so we can post the official announcement and at least start working on the other two tasks while the questions are being submitted, then later I, eezy or the Heads can announce the Task 2 questions. That way the challenge goes ahead without any further delay.
The four common rooms are a part of a game we play here in the HP forum, it's not a role playing game otherwise we wouldn't be allowed but it basically goes like this: new members go to The Sorting Hat/Hogwarts Cafe thread to the fist page and answer the list of sorting questions, then one of the Two Heads (Tassie or Rogue who started the game) will sort you into the right House according to your answers. The purpose of this is for people to be in their House and compete in challenges against each other. We keep a list of points, members and we can talk casually to each other in the Sorting Hat thread too. The other thread we have is the Inter House Challenge thread where all the challenges take place and scores are posted, so 6 threads in total.

I was talking about entries in general, sorry about that - ack my head is elsewhere, should have been more specific. In regards to the Q & A round you're right - go with what I posted in the official notice in your House threads - for the answers to those, PM them to each other for consultation, do not post them. But for the rest of the tasks or any other entry in general we can post them as usual because they are always different anyway
EDIT - Each House will answer questiosn from the same set, they will answer 6 out of 8 because they can't answer their own ones obviously .

so its started ? cause I saw celestial's post in the interhouse thread announcing the challnge?
and Sorry Rebphoe If I was pressuring.... my whole point is that there are a lot of newbies who just joined us, and they might get bored.
