italian scum

german and french national squads are goners now..they are still good but not as great as they was..i dont think they will get past the quarter finals

the spanish squad is great and i expect them to be strong contenders for the world cup, along with england, brazil, portugal and czech republic
greece wont be as lucky this time around in my opinion

dammit!!

Come on AC or PSV. Either or, nae bothered, just please nae a team from England.

I would've said English team, but there's nae half a team of Englishmen in either starting 11.

As for the world cup....Czechs blew their chance at the Euros. Spain are bottlers, Portugal the same as the Czechs. French are too weird. Italy too boring. England.....hahahahahahahahaha.

in the unlikely event of Scotland not winning it, I forsee a Germany vs Holland final. Reasons:

1) Germans at home, they were rubbish in Asia and still made the final.

2) There is nothing the Dutch would like more than to win the World Cup n Germany

3) The final the last time it was in Germany was.........West Germany vs Cryuff and co.

4) The only time the dutch ever won anything was Euro 1988, in Germany.

History determines that it should be so.

Kick it nah nah nah nah nah nah...

theres about three or 4 italian players in the startin eleven for ac milan 🙂

theres 3 englishmen in chelseas team..possibly 4

u cant expect a full english team...

Terry & Lampard are 2 world class players. Last domestic match, Terry had a fantastic game. And Utd..........2nil against rock bottom Norwich.

Maldini, Nesta, Gattuso, Pirlo are definites. Costacurta, Ambrossini, Inzaghi all regulars. Also an Italian manager and owner

Chelsea have Terry, Lampard definites. Cole, Bridge regulars. Portuguese manager and Russian owner

Liverpool have Carragher, Gerrard definites. That's it. Spanish manager English owner.

Pitiful.

doesnt matter

doesnt matter who owns the club
wud ac milan turn down the russian owner? i dont think so..wud they turn down mourinho if they didnt have a manager? no....chelsea are lucky

Milan are owned by the Italian Prime Minister! They are financially sorted and unlike Chelsea didn't require a Russian to stop them going out of business!

They do have a manager, a rather successful manager so Morinho is irrelevant.

Yes Chelsea are lucky, but not exactly English!

Yet the media in England will cheer every tackle by Joe Cole and every header by John Terry in a vain attempt to bask in the glory of the russian's wee toy.

Oh, and we haven't even talked about Arsenal yet... French manager, French captain, Dutch vice captain, French third captain, French stars, Spanish strikers --- it's probably the most non-English run EPL team. At least they have two players in the English Squad. Take it easy though, I'm an Arsenal fan.

Well i support Rushden & Diamonds lets talk about them......GO DIAMONDS !!

Chelsea are an English team with some great English players, some great foreign players and the best manager there is. Nobody can say Chelsea's revival is down to Roman because with all the money in the world they wouldn't have won the cups with Ranieri running them.

Mourinho came right in and sorted the team out. Every player with potential now plays to their potential. Eg: Joe Cole.

-AC

Who got rid of Ranieri?

Who got Mourinho in?

Who pays the wages?

Until Roman decided on a new toy Chelsea were financially screwed.

Chelsea have never been at this level to have needed reviving to get back to it.

Abramovic is entirely the reason Chelsea are where they are at the moment.

rather stupid as i dont think liverpool fans in heysel meant to go watch a match with the intention of killing a bunch uf juventus fans

they still shouldn't have gone into the Juventus seats.
but I feel those hardcore "fans" are very wrong here, since it happened 20 years ago so you have to be already around 40 and older to even have something close to the right of being mad at the events; cause you were either too young to remember or not realising it if you're younger than 40

Exactly ; ignorance has prevailed among the few dumbasses Juventus had in both legs.

Italy is having serious problems disciplinary problems when it comes to the audiences at the stadia. In britain, the only thing that seperates the crowds from the pitch are the sponsors merely a metre high.

Back in Italy, they buffer with plexi-glass, gates, bars and nets......no small surprise when one looks at the ignorance from As Roma, Juve and Inter

Sporting (with 7 portuguese players) SMASHED Newcastle (I dont care how much players were english) !!!

Congratulate me 😮‍💨

WOW!!

Yap..Italians hooligans only work at home and english hooligans only work away; more precisely out of England 😛

Congrats to sporting!!

One less team from Englandshire in Europe.

Congrat me twice Scottie 🙂

bcs we also kicked Middlesborough last round..btw we are experts kicking off english teams.

Take a look..

Uefa info:

Sporting are unbeaten in Lisbon against visiting clubs from England, most recently recording a 1-0 win against Middlesbrough. Manchester United FC were defeated in the 1963/64 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, Sunderland AFC were eliminated from the same competition 3-2 on aggregate ten years later and Southampton FC made way in second round of the 1981/82 UEFA Cup. The Saints lost 4-2 at home and drew 0-0 in Portugal.

Sporting's 1964 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup quarter-final tussle with United produced one of the all-time great European comebacks, after the Portuguese club lost the first leg at Old Trafford 4-1, with Denis Law's hat-trick and a goal from Bobby Charlton seemingly giving the English club an unassailable lead. But Sporting found a hat-trick hero of their own in Osvaldo Silva in the return leg, as Sporting won 5-0 en route to lifting the trophy by defeating another Hungarian side, MTK Budapest, in the final.
