The difference between Henry, Robinho and Crouch is that when they're not taking penalties they consistantly play like two of the most talented players on the world. You are saying Crouch is very good because you are told he is. What are you basing it on? He's never done anything very good, at all. The only way he's good is if the ball is continually played to him and with a great defence, he'd be marked out of the game. He can't beat men, he can make and control runs. He's shit. You being conditioned to think he's good based on him doing nothing good is the lame opinion. I've seen him play shit, that's where I get my opinion. You haven't seen him play "great" because he's never played great.

Crouch was good when he was younger. Now he is bigger and the ball is smaller. I think he is finding it difficult to coordiante himself. He is just too big for that ball.
What Benitez and Eriksson are doing is giving him a chance to prove himself. Altough i think these managers are using him for psychological rather than of striking value. Having a 6'7 ft player is not common these days. IMO, he should build up more muscle to be more precise and aid his coordination with ball.

Look at the scenario. He's playing lame for Liverpool to the point that he hasn't scored, so they GIVE him a penalty in hopes that he can get on the score sheet, and he not only misses, but takes a shit penalty. back to crouch, he is a good player who will soon ram the critics comments down there throat. so what if most his goals are tap ins? most of owens goals are tap ins, its a strikers job to get in the box and poach given any opportunity. if you are expectin 30 yard thunder bolts or mazy runs then you will be dissapointed, thats not crouches game. everyone is different and you have to respect that.

That's what people do with shit prospects. Musicians, sportsmen etc. They hype them up, but when they're shit they just say "Ahh you watch, soon he's gonna silence the critics." He won't though, because he's shit. The reason England fail is because shit players like him are continually given chances because people "like" the guy, rather than thinking "He's not beneficial to our team, why are we not using better players?".
My point about the tap in's was that if it's coming off his feet, why is his beanpole height making any difference? So he's tall, so what? I'm really fast.
