i disagree. crouch is a key player now. he is getting much better with each game he plays, with liverpool and england. i have nothing but admiration for him.
I just think other teams will laugh at him. Not just because he's a bean-pole, but also because he looks like he's a Q-Tip short of an ear clean, if you get my meaning...
As for his footballing skills...20 Premiership starts, 3 goals. When he plays against top-quality opposition it's even worse: 5 games in the Champions League, 0 goals. He's not what you'd call 'prolific', is he?

Well only 5 teams have conceded less goals than Man Utd which isn't bad compared to last season.
Crouch's height will trouble any defender in the world IMO.. I don't think he is a great player.. but he does add something different to the England team that they haven't had.. He is a perfect sub IMO which is why he will be going to Germany.
I would take. Rooney, Crouch, Defoe and Owen.
The first 3 are cert's for me because Rooney has been playing very well as has Defoe.. Crouch however stupid he looks he cause's defenders problems because of his height.. Owen because he can always get a goal.. but if his come back from injury doesn't go to plan I would drop him and take Bent.
