Martins turn and shot against the crossbar was awesome he was so unlucky with that.

OH YEAH ! What a volley ; It was a real pity he did not bag that one. It would have been one of the best goals in Champions League.

BTW I saw the AC Milan - Barcellona Farewell match to Albertini tonight.

Marco Van Basten scored a beautiful gliding header that the commentator dubbed as the 'Volo del Angelo' (Flight of the Angel). Its difficult enough for today's professionals to conjure that yet Van Basten did it at the age of 41. Marvellous Goal!

superb goals

First off...Birmingham 0 - Tottenham Hotspur 2

Good stuff! We can do it, boys!

Secondly, what web-sites to people use to keep up-to-date with football news? Despite my natural loathing of Murdoch, I can't help but use skysports.com. This is mainly because I always used planetfootball.com, but then Murdoch gobbled it up for himself. I'd be willing to try another, if anyone can recommend me one...

You could always read the football sections of newspaper websites.

I check The Guardian's and The Independent's, but they aren't as substantial as skysports.com.

skysports.com for me always.. I find they are the more reliable than newspapers.

Chelsea lost to Fulham w00t

I'm not one of these people who is out to see Chelsea fail just because they dominated a season, will win this one and have a manager who doesn't give credit where it is due SOMETIMES (Because sucking up isn't good either).

I do think that their first season, though well deserved, is now being exposed as a bit of a shock and awe blitz. People are realising that this team are nowhere near as unbeatable as people thought they were, and instead of going out trying their hardest to not lose, they're trying to win.

Arsenal were much more convincing when they never lost. Then again I'm biased.

I just hope Tottenham lose some of their games.

That is pretty much how I think the season will end up.. I definatly don't see Chelsea slipping up enough for Man Utd to over take them.. Although being a Man Utd fan I would love it if that did happen 😛

If Arsenal end the season above Tottenham, all is fine.

Not even because I support Arsenal and it's a North London rival thing, just because a friend of mine supports Tottenham and now thinks they're Britain's Barcelona I think.

haha, he's alone in that thinking then.

Tottenham fans are universally very very humble... every single one ive spoken to (and me) beleives we have only a slim chance of staying 4th, but slim is more than enough to fight for.

all it takes is wins against man city newcastle and everton to put us high on confidence for the man u, arsenal and bolton games, which, as well as our awesome home record will hopefully give 3 points out of those three, preferably 9 haha. (these 3 will make or break our season!) and then 3points at west ham.

fingers crossed, but we do have the hardest end to the season.

I think they're much better than they have ever been and I've never been involved in that rivalry unless it's a joke on here or between said friend and I.

I think Arsenal will be a force again next season, they're getting that spark back.

ive never really cared for the rivalry, i mean i watch arsenal games and support the other team... but i do that for Bolton (because theyre boring as ****), Chelsea and Newcastle as well.

i mean i'd rather finish above Arsenal, but as long as we finish in a strong position i don't care, with the years of european football arsenal have had it'd be a big acheivment to finish above them anyway, you're a much more successful club, and because of the way the premiership works, will always find it easier to finish higher up.

at the beginning of the season i didnt really see anything special in any of your supposed 'youth talent' but towards the end ive been proved wrong, Fabregas is obviously amazing, flamini has done well out of position, hleb looks like he could still progress more etc etc...
it's all good for Spurs and Arsenal in the future, we have the most talented young squads in the league imo and will only get better.

you see in the paper supposedly Arsenal and Spurs are currently fighting for Torres' signature? both clubs kinda need him, i dont rate that adebayor, and with the rumours of Defoe wanting to leave...

I like Torres but I seriously think he's overrated. He can beat people well enough (he's no Ronaldinho or Henry) and he can score. He can also poach. I don't think Arsenal are in desperate need of goals enough to sign him though. If anyone needs good strikers it's Liverpool.

Will I complain if he joins Arsenal? No. I just don't think Arsenal "need" him.

VVD said the other week that Shaun Wright-Phillips should just go to Arsenal, and I agree. The man is gonna get nowhere at Chelsea.

-AC

arsenal should be playing walcott. he is very similar to shaun wright phillips. i watched him tear teams to shreads. arsenal need an experienced centre back. someone like ayala. and they need an experienced world class holding player. doesnt matter if he is old. diaby should fill vieiras boots but not yet. strikers are the least of arsenals worrys
