Howbout Chelsea - Tottenham though, what a game that was. More than exciting, exhausting is the word. Real beauty and the beast game. Chelsea's terrible defending and Spurs' efficiency in attack, Berbatov/Lennon's brilliance and Mido's lumbering inadequacy, the amount of goals and the amount of bookings, Defoe and Shevchenko's dribble/shots and Essien's own goal. Madness. Replay should be interesting, although I'm certain Chelsea will somehow learn and adapt from that experience and grind out a 1-0 victory.
On a note unrelated to that particular game, not having any origin in this country I'm still waiting for the right team to come along and seduce me into fandom, and for whatever reason I can feel it's probably going to be Spurs. My two most passionate football fan friends are Tottenham guys so I guess that's swaying my choice somewhat.
I don't understand Martin Jol, he brings off Ghali, Lennon and Berbatov.. the three players who were really damaging Chelsea and opening them up. I had my doubts over Berbatov but he has really proven me wrong, he was fantastic today and has been all season. I thought Defoe got alittle ball greedy near the end and clearly should of passed to Mido who would of scored. Spurs really should of finished off a really poor Chelsea.
Oh and, anyone see Robben diving? And everyone says Cristiano is bad, that guy Robben does it more than anyone!

spurs would definitely be my second favourite team, when they play well they play well with a lot of style. its just a matter of putting that quality out on a consistent basis. i dont know if jol thought he'd already won the game or something but taking berbatov off so early was a huge mistake. bad call writing chelsea off with the amount of quality players they have in their team.

and yea, Spurs are awful... in a european place, still in the FA and EUFA cups (after holding Chelsea and beating Braga away)... unbeaten in 6 games... scored 20 goals in the last 6.
shocking, almost as shocking as Arsenal (the greatest team in the world) not winning anything for the last 2 seasons...
on a better note; what a surprise, Man Utd didnt draw Chelsea in the FA cup... and Man Utd drew the easy club, fixed for a Chelsea v Man Utd final?

I never said Arsenal were doing good, they're doing poor by their own standards. Doesn't change the fact that Tottenham, as of yet, haven't won anything in the last two seasons either.
