newcastle did deserve a point there though, so it all worked out in the end. i thought that game was really well refereed except for that last block by steven taylor and maybe the one a bit earlier on adebayor, but he was going down anyways so thats a bit harder to call.

arsenal got away with it on saturday but today they just didnt have enough.

They are missing Hleb, RVP, Fabregas and Flamini though.

That's like taking out Ronaldo, Rooney, Scholes and Hargreaves.

Or Cole, Drogba, Lampard and Essien.

Or...Torres.

no definitely, they are missing the best midfield probably in the premiership right now as far as form goes. im just glad they dropped points.

They still got A point, so a win from Man U won't even bring them level. We just need to get a win over Middlesbrough.

Newcastle is the team I support in the Prem....but the ref should have given at least 2 fouls on Adebeyour??SP?

anyways I think the ref had a great game, let the play flow when needed.

Newcastle dominatd the 2nd half, it was nice to see that.

Thanks for the schedule dude but I have got Setanta, got it last year for the "rangers celtic games" only so I could see Aberdeens away form. Its nice to see that they have go english matches and also other SPL teams getting matches.

He was a good ref for the most part, but he bottled those last two blatant decisions. If it had been the other end it'd have been a red and a free kick.

It's as VVD said earlier (Not on the forum), you get commentators now who are hyping up teams to do well against Arsenal, actually by name, suggesting that people do anything to slow them down.

Tim Sherwood on Setanta was saying how he was cheering Villa players on to kick Arsenal players.

No matter how well Arsenal do, people will never, ever give them due credit for some reason. They're like a taboo, perhaps because everyone said they'd go to shit, and now they're not.

Yet again, Liverpool get constant hype as championship material.

even when i was watching the game i went "oh shit" when the last foul was committed....the one which should have been a red card but wasnt.

Bentdnar got seriously blocked to get the ball, think it was Barton who acted like he was fouled when he went down. right at the edge of the area as well.

well the ref of the Tottenham game was a bit rubbish, gave silly decisions and never let play advantage.

Tottenhams defence was a shambles when they conceeded the first goal, not a good way to conceed.

Also Aberdeen MAY still qualify for the last 32 if they beat Copenhagen in a fortnights time at Pittodrie. Hopefully we do.

you can pretty much count those 3 points, middlesbrough fell apart this year. yakubu and viduka leaving crippled them.

yeah not the same team as last season, no matter how lucky they are i dont see middlesburgh getting anything from the game.

Just back from the Aberdeen game, not a great game, we went down 1-0 by half time but came back to win it 2-1.

Just watching the Liverpool game, down 2-1 as now (65th minute)

MAKE THAT 3-1!!!!!!!!!!

what a shambles defence liverpool had, risse was lazy.

reading guy 1 on 1 with keeper and skimmed him....pow!!!

Gerrard subbed on the 70th minute....he wasnt happy. I'm glad tho that Rafael doesnt care about big names, he wasnt doing much.

Think the owners of Liverpool's patience is wearing thin with the management, lot of money being spent on lack of results.

gerard was playing pretty well actually, rafa took him off because he wanted to rest him for the game on tuesday.

i know you cant blame it all on the manager because at the end of the day its on the players shoulders to play the game but you also have to look at benitez tinkering around and breaking the flow that they had going for the past few weeks.

Arsenal is going to face one of the rudest teams in Premier League, and that means there's a chance a few more names would be added to their list of traumatized🙁(((((((((((
I only hope Hleb would be ll right next week.

Looking like he won't be, at the moment.

Not that I expect most of you to care about Dutch football, but I thought I'd post a vid of Roda hammering PSV in an away match I attended last Friday, in Eindhoven. You should watch it, if only for the second goal.
