Depends whether the Liverpool luck is running dry. Only so many red cards, disputable goals and dives in the box from which one team can benefit.

It's fixed.

Arsenal have got so many crammed fixtures, it'll be tough, that's for sure. Liverpool blag their way through the cup, so it wouldn't surprise me to see them win it. They can afford to focus, they're struggling for 4th.

Do you seriously think its fixed?

The reason I ask is that I personally think that a lot of football draws are fixed in many ways, and not only on the club level. Probably for money reasons betting, bribes etc. After what came to view in the Italian league a couple of years ago it may not be such a daft idea. And Liverpool´s 3:3 comeback in the final🙂 whoever bet on that would have been a rich man.

This sort of comment probably belongs in the conspiracy area, but it would be interesting to hear what other people think.

Well at least 1 English Club is going through, Arsenal probably have the best chance to go all the way, but you never know in cup competitions.

There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that the EPL fixture list, UEFA cup, CL, FIFA and probably other european league draws are fixed in some way.

Roma - Man Utd looks too providential not to be fixed. Also, the all English semi plus the Barca - Man Utd one...Too much like forecasting.

As much as I dislike their team and majority of fans, I don't believe Liverpool's comeback was fixed. It was A.C. Milan being utter mugs.

This is just too dodgy not to be fixed, but U.E.F.A. have insisted it isn't, so what can be done? All Arsenal can do (All I'm concerned about) is do the best they can do on the nights and let that be that.

Anything can happen in football. All it takes is missed chances, a dodgy penalty etc.

the possibility of two english teams going against each other in this round was pretty high. there was less chance that they wouldnt face another english team.

Quoted from the link below:

"A post left on a newspaper's internet forum at 10.28am this morning - 90 minutes before the draw took place in Nyon, Switzerland - correctly predicted the entire quarter-final draw. The poster claimed that bookmakers were no longer willing to accept bets on the draw, although it is understood that most were not running books on it anyway."

For once, I hope Whinger's cry-babies beat another team; those Spanish Scousers bore me.

Yeah, and I hope Juande "Ender of Barren Days" Ramos wins the U.E.F.A. Cup that they're still in.

One trophy is enough for this season; we don't want to start getting too greedy. Also, going out helps balance expectations. Next season, we'll only win the UEFA and finish 4th. Step by step...

man united vs barcelona..im lookin forward to that one already.

Im looking forward to seeing Schalke get obliterated, mind you if their goaly has another inspired session who knows.

Some commentary gems from the Arsenal game so far;

Eboue gets the ball... and goes down
Eboue goes down again
Surprise surprise, Eboue is up and he's all right folks!

holy shit, they dropped more points. the wheels are comin off.

and wenger says he wont bring many new players in. very silly. stop buying youngsters and start getting the cash out for some world class stars

Arsenal need to buy maybe 1 or two experienced players, or maybe a winger or two just so they have the option of changing their tactics if something isnt working.

Explain to me how being on level points means the wheels are coming off? Didn't Man Utd just barely beat Derby County, instead of multiple goals?

Wheels coming off apparently.

it's not just that though, doesn't this make it 1 win in 7?

Yeah, but the earlier record allows for these kinds of things.

We've still only got one loss in the league.

a bad run could be bad for arsenal... but they are a top team and i expect them to win more games, along with man united. this should be close.

That's the thing, it's considered a bad run, despite Arsenal having not lost any of the past games they've drawn in.

Poor for the form they're in, of course. We should have taken more points and I'm sure the team knows that. Man Utd have slipped up far worse, and they've come back, then so have Arsenal, then so have Man Utd.

People need to stop acting like this is over as soon as A team gets the lead.
