Why did I even expect a sensible response?

i thought wenger was handling it pretty well actually, from the videos i saw at least.

so is villareal ahead of barcelona in the league? i just heard the commentator mention something about it but i didnt really hear it clearly.

Yeah, I'm quite glad.

Barca have been caught in their own hype for far too long now. They've got amazing players, but they have gone downhill.

1 Real Madrid 31 66
2 Villarreal 31 59
3 Barcelona 31 59

Craziness. Also, Ronaldinho has apparently agreed terms with A.C. Milan according to various websites and his brother. As VVD pointed out, A.C. Milan will have the best on-paper team if they get the defenders they want too (Zambrotta and another Italian I think). Brazilian attack, Italian defence. If they put it to good use, who knows where they'll head? Ronaldinho feeding Pato isn't something teams will want to face.

I'm looking forward to, hopefully, a good game on Sunday.

Any predictions?

flamini being out is a big blow to arsenal. plus we rested all our big players midweek, and fabregas is looking a little tired. i dont know, hopefully united win and ronaldo scores a hat trick.

they're back up to second with the draw today, but villareal play tomorrow and could take it back.

yeah, pato, kaka, ronaldinho and ronaldo(if he makes the recovery from his knee injury). milan could make a real push for the scudetto and make it a competition in italy again. looks pretty good on paper.

Yeah.

For me, an Arsenal loss would be shit, but not the most unexpected thing right now. A win wouldn't be massively unexpected, and a draw would be alright with me.

I don't think an Italian manager in an Italian league will ALLOW them to become another Barca either, as in too good for their own good.

Poor guy, he could hardly hold a candle to King, Woodgate or Dawson's flame.

I just find Arsenal to be a ridiculous 'team'; they squabble amongst themselves, their manager is obviously a smart man but he acts like a moron in any post-game interview, and they haven't won anything for YEARS.

Keane and Berbatov had a row the other day. First steps of engineering his move.

yeah, it was asking a lot for frank rijkaard to handle all those egos. isnt he only in his thirties still? might be forties.

Think of the implications of your signature, Phat. Fergie, Man Utd's manager, has said he's the best in the world so many times. It only becomes quoteworthy when Wenger says it (And Wenger actually gets something wrong there).

As an Arsenal fan, it's always nice to see cocky supporters of other clubs give a Freudian nod toward Wenger as the best manager there is.

How much of an impact do you all think Shevchenko will have in AC Milan, if anything at all?

i just thought it was funny when i read it.

ferguson is a better manager than wenger, i firmly believe that. you can say wenger has done more with less, that he develops young players or whatever. doesnt change the fact that ferguson gets more out of his players and makes them better than they would be at any other club.

anybody watch the aston villa game today? 45 yard curler with his weak foot, not bad, albeit into an open goal.

I saw the Petrov goal, it was pretty decent technique.

That's an unusual fact. Seems to have evidence to the contrary.

Such as Forlan.

And Veron. Kleberson as well. Bellion, Rossi and Djemba squared.

Also Howard. Taibi. Bosnich. Carroll and Barthez.

i didnt say every player he ever put on a team sheet was pure gold. i simply said he gets more out of his players. combine that with the consistency and success hes had, to me that makes him better.

Am I in the minority that think players should not be making these types of deals during the season? Especially with the word concerning Ronaldinho leaving Barca for Milan. I can't imagine it helping morale and there is plenty of time to do it when the season is over.

That is meaningless. You either mean every player, or some players. If you mean some, then what's so great about that? Some he gets the most out of, some he doesn't. Same as any manager. You made a blanket statement that didn't apply to the players I mentioned.

I don't think the people concerned give much of a shit about morale.

You DID say better than they would be at any other club.

My point about Wenger's quote was that he's not actually a winger who has scored 37 goals. That just makes the feat seem more amazing than it is. He's a striker who started on the wing and CAN play there. He is either a shit, greedy winger (In terms of what a winger should be doing, assists)...or he's a striker.

A striker getting 37 goals isn't AS amazing.

My response was MORE than just sensible, it was factual. Look at Arsenal's results since they got whooped by Spurs. Apart from the AC Milan game, they've completely nose-dived since then. And they've whinged. And moaned. And fought amongst themselves. And blamed everything they could. And fallen out of every competition they were in. And and and.

Personally, I feel pretty upset by this because I love those little guys.

Yes, Krunk'd. Hello, Krunk'd.

Hey, man.

Do you cook or eat out most days? How much for a week's worth of groceries in England nowadays?

he just has a free role. he starts on the right wing and drifts from side to side and then through the middle, like all our front players.
