It's not really accurate, then, to act like he's a WINGER scoring all these goals.
"Mind you, I'd hope to get more than one bottle sent from Old Trafford myself if we beat Chelsea. They haven't lost at home for four years, so I'd expect to get a case of the good stuff if we get a result down there.", Steve Bruce.
Because you know, it's all in my mind that Man Utd get "help".

get over it dude, thats a former player having a joke with someone interviewing him. thats called reading way too much into something. the only thing driving wigan to play chelsea hard is the threat of relegation.
arsenal failed to take advantage of dominating the first half, will it come back to haunt them? i think so.
Why deny it? He clearly said it. Do you have proof it was a joke? Better prove it. My proof was that he said it. You now have the burden of proof to prove contrary.
A former Man Utd player is going to try to help out his former team, just like Sam Allardyce used to try to help Fergie.
Just the way it goes. Must be nice to know.

It took set pieces, though.
Admittedly a very technically good free kick and a penalty that was Gallas's fault really.
Man Utd didn't look more likely to score from open play than Arsenal. Not that it matters, you win what you put away at the end of the day. That proved how clinical Man Utd are, and that's what's won it for them POSSIBLY, this season. Not playing the best football, but being clinical. If you play not that well, but take all the chances (Or most) you get, you'll come away with the points.
Ability to retain leads and take more chances, a bigger (But not more talented, in my opinion) squad etc. Andy Gray said it best; having arguably the best starting 11 in the world sometimes isn't enough, you need the best squad.
What happened to Ronaldo being unstoppable? Got stopped just about every time he came to attack. That's why he's not unstoppable. I suppose it's all down to Chelsea now, who have played even worse football, but know more about being clinical, arguably.
Predictions for that game?

I think what Ray Wilkins just said is exactly right, and I've said it all along.
Chelsea and Man Utd's other squad members are of a similar quality. So while Arsenal's starting, best 11 is arguably the best in the world (I don't think people would argue their ability to contend that), the squad just isn't filled with likewise quality. Just promise of amazing quality.
I will continue to have faith in Wenger's ability with players, but I definitely think he needs to splash out. A midfielder, a new keeper, defender, maybe a winger and a striker.
Ben Arfa and Diego would be good, Quaresma would never be let go, Benzema would fit.

if you dont take the chances arsenal had in that game, you dont deserve to win it. arsenal passed the ball around nicely, got a lot of chances, but does that make them a better team? personally, i dont think so. i think the better team can get outplayed and still win it.
wenger definitely needs to pick up a few players in the summer, but he still has all those players that now have another years experience as well. they just need someone to come in and freshen up the midfield, let fabregas sit out a couple games. another striker would be good, benzema would fit into any team, but he already said he doesnt want to come to england.
i think it'll be a draw, or a man u win. chelsea have been shit this season, im honestly shocked they're in the position they are in right now the way they've played.
To solve arsenals problems, its simple
- They need a real grafter who puts it about in midfield, a real leader. An Essien or a gattuso. Needs to be established and not one for the future. Needs also to take the weight off fabregas's shoulders. Bringing in a qaulity midfielder will make fabregas an even better player. Wenger will need to spend and its about time he did. This will add grit the centre of midfield as fabregas and flamini are too lightweight. Needs to spend about 10-15 million for this type of player
- Another top quality winger. Playing eboue isnt going to help at all. 10 million tops is needed
- Then they need a pure goalscorer and that will mean spending high. Be positive and go for players like etoo or benzema. This will make them more dangerous in the box, and they will score plenty more. 15-20 million. Wort breaking the bank.
- defender. A good old fashioned english centre half is needed in the mould of terry or woodgate. A true leader who wont buckle under pressure. 10-12 million
total - around 50 million. if he can get some bargains then it could strip the spending down to 40 million. But they would have to be top quality players all the same. He really needs to break the bank next season.
Get rid of lehmann and bendtner. Nothing against bendtner but it seems he doesnt have the backing of the team. The team needs high quality transfers to get them going for next season. This will not only lift them mentally but there will be belief that these new players will help survive a long and hard season. Strengh in depth mr wenger. Rooney can come off for teves..adebayor for bendtner. carrick for hargreaves or scholes for anderson. then you have Fabregas coming off for gilberto. The problem is there for all to see and i hope wenger gets ambitious next year

Diaby is going to be that man. Diaby, Flamini, Fabregas. I wouldn't argue against one more though. For rotation's sake.

It's ALLEGED that he will pay £11 million for Ben Arfa. I don't know who would realistically come though, all big clubs seem to have their big strikers on lockdown. Benzema has committed to Lyon.

Remove the word "English" like it's a necessity and I'll agree with you.
I honestly don't care which nationality it is, even if it's English, I just don't see why everyone feels it has to be English. It's an odd assumption.

Arsenal need a new keeper. Almunia will only improve, Fabianski hasn't convinced me at all, I'd prefer Buffon, Hildebrand or Coupet, but they're not going anywhere.
