That's like saying "Water is wet".

Soft penalty, Gerrard dived if anything.

Again Liverpool do it. If Bic is right, and you make your own luck, Liverpool actually have a factory of it.

dude, gerrard fouled perea. referees suck, jesus.

I know.

Gerrard jumped into him and then went down in the exact same way that he did when he won the penalty in the Champions' League final.

-AC

jesus christ is on the side of the scousers. plus a band of leprechauns.

I hate these ****ing idiots.

I'd honestly be embarrassed to support them at the moment.

Football365.com's mailbox actually contains a few Liverpool fans who are openly admitting it was a dive.

That's when you know it's serious. I'm sure they don't care, and I'm sure the Red and White Kop forum is full of "I didn't see owt!", but it was a dive. Undeniably.

-AC

Not sure if he dived, but it definitely wasn't a penalty. However, there certainly should have been one Liverpool penalty, if not two, earlier in the game. The referee was a complete ****wit.

I must admit over the last few weeks Liverpool have had the odd thing "happen" which would lead one to believe that supernatural forces are at work, not luck though 😆

It was a dive. Obama said so.

you know when its dogy when the british media simply call it "a controversial decision"

Nobody would dare suggest that the "heartbeat" of Liverpool is a diver.

Ever.

It's luck, obviously.

enough about liverpool, who cares? they'll drop the ball sooner or later.

so apparently chelsea fell apart in the roma game. i didnt see the game but i watched some pundits talking about it after and they were all saying scolari did a mourinho-esque change at half time and didnt get any response whatsoever. i guess it got really bad after he made the changes as well. all good signs for me and man utd.

ooo plus i just read that adebayor is out for 3 weeks which takes him out of the game at the weekend.

Sagna, Walcott, Adebayor, Rosicky, Eduardo.

All out or still out. Not sure if Gallas was rested tonight or whether he's injured, or whether Sagna will be back.

I think the team we put out tonight was very promising. Maybe a few changes here and there, but I definitely think Djourou is going to be that defender Arsenal were supposedly in need of. He's got all the qualities of Senderos on a good day, but doesn't look as likely to slip up. Fabianski didn't have much to do, so can't judge his performance.

Ramsey is just sick. He's going to be so f*cking wicked.

good to hear, ill take anything i can get. arsenal always raise their game when it matters though so im sure it isnt gonna make that huge a difference.

didnt rvp get a red card or something or am i imagining that?

that reminds me, hows the senderos loan deal going?

I don't even know if he's played a game yet.

Bearing in mind, Senderos has to compete for first team action. They'll be taking the UEFA Cup seriously, as well as Serie A. You've got to wonder when they'll even take a gamble on him.

alpha, being welsh i've been watching ramsey for a little while before he joined arsenal, needless to say you've got yourself a great little player there. a mate of mine whos also an arsenal fan has been saying how well ramseys been doing when played. certainly one for the future and no doubt what our national team needs!

Spurs won again, looks like they are the football Phoenix 🙂

they actually defended decently as well, given it was zagreb they still played well.

Huddlestone played like the beautiful beast he always could be. If he can add some consistency and robustness to his play, then he could dominate every game. He's built like a brick and can pass like Hoddle! Also...woof! What a goal!

If anyone can turn Huddlestone into the Hoddlestone we all want him to be, it's 'Arry.
