To name a few, the Championship is getting tougher with a lot of good teams.
I wonder how many of Newcastle players will have to or want to go. This will also give them problems in the promotion battle.
I can´t see the crowd input being a problem though, the Geordies are loyal fanatical fans who will keep supporting their team even if they go into the 3rd division.
i dont know we've had some pretty good nights in rome, especially last year. i think united will win, barca can only play one way and when they come up against a team that can actually defend and doesnt watch them pass it around like they do in la liga it doesnt go well for them.
add the absence of 3 first choice defenders and inesta and henry being half fit i think we'll walk away with a comfortable scoreline if we put away our chances, 3-1. that or a couple missed open shots and goal line saves and a close loss or win.

As a Man Utd fan its pains me to say it but apart from the first 10 minutes Barca were miles better and deserved the win. Forget Ronaldo and Messi for me Iniesta has as big a shout as anyone for being the best player in the world he was awesome tonight.

Teams of this class don´t, or shouldn´t "be stunned" by going down a goal, especially in such a final.
Barca´s telepathic midfield was awesome and the deciding factor, letting Man U run after the ball. Barca played as a team, C. Ronaldo played for himself.
Some commentators were saying "oh bad day at the office" "it didn´t go well on the day for man united " etc.
The real reason why is because they were totally outclassed by players who have so much technical ability in all areas its awe inspiring, 7 of whom come from the Barca youth, so they know what each other is going to do before they do it. Ex Man u player Pique was also awesome in defence.
Barcelona play the type of football I want to see, they make it look so easy.
Barca deserved the win. Great games from Iniesta and Xavi, and I'd like to add Sylvinho to that as well. Really surprised me but he was one of Barca's best players last night. United were horrible last night except for maybe the first 15 minutes. Scholes should've been sent off.
It seemed though as if Ferguson didn't really plan this match as much. He knew what Barca were capable of but he didn't seem to have put any effort into creating game tactics that would deconstruct their fluid play. Or the players simply didn't execute them, which is even worse.
if barca didnt score on their first attack of the game it would have been completely different. it took everything out of the united players, it shouldnt have but it did.
im not taking anything away from barca, they deserved the victory. goals change games, if they didnt score out of nothing when united were all over them for the first ten minutes i think you would have seen a very different game.
