I certainly wasn't expecting Schalke to win, even more so after such an early goal. Great comeback though.

Real Madrid looked very good last night also.

Against ten men of Spurs they should especially at home. I recon Harry Rednap was to respectfull before the game, going on about how mega Real are, seemed like damage control before any damage was done which isn´t good for inspiring the players really.

Is it all Euro soccer in here, or do you guys do MLS too? Because RSL is kicking ass all over the place, between regular league play and the Champions League. 13

The only MLS we get to see highlights of here is LA Galaxy games.. and thats only if David Beckham is playing.

Oh I´d put Gareth bale and Mesut Özil in there somewhere, probably instead of Sneijder and Evra. Tevez isn´t a proper center forward imo don´t know why you put him there, seeing as he runs about all over the field.

tevez works is socks off, runs about the pitch but can still score 30 goals a season. he gives defenders a right headache. and besides, ronaldo and messi are not proper centre forwards and you have put them right up top.

bale is slightly over rated for me anyway. people have not stopped humping him since the inter games. plus he isn't a left back anymore

That´s the problem, you can´t be a target man center forward if your on the other side of the pitch. Running about like a headless chicken like Tevez and Rooney do might seem like you have another 2 players on the pitch against certain apponents, but teams like Barcelona will let them run all day without getting the ball. They are better suited to the offensive midfield imo.

Bale isn´t a left back anymore at Spurs, he should be though imo especially if your playing attacking football with offensive left and right backs.

What do you think will happen in the ManU v Schalke semi final (if Schalke manage to hold inter of tonight).

Should be an exciting tie, ManU better not underestimate them, they have nothing else to play for (schalke)

I haven't checked on the goal yet and I'm interested to see if it being disallowed was bollocks or not. I understand Real always had referee difficulties when facing Barcelona. Every call seems to go against them, and this is coming from an objective stand point.

The disallowed goal was ridiculous, Ronaldo fell into the back of Mascherano's leg and he dived to the floor. Was never a foul.

Barcelona still the better team over the 2 legs though and deserved to go though.

Must be some sort of revenge against him then from the days of the Premiership when every tackle he made against good ol' Ronaldo ended up in a whistle and him on the ground.

He was never a diver from what I saw of him, which were many matches.

Maybe dive is to harsh... he made the most of what little contact there was.
