Your going on as if just because you say your a nerd you think you'll be mistreated or something. It aint like that.

I think nerds kick ass. I never said being a nerd would get me mistreated, quite the opposite actually.

I disagree with the fact that "you are as cool as you say you are" I know guys and girls who think they are all that and a bag of chips who are terrible people. Just be who you are, don't call yourself anything. Be proud of yourself. That's the best way to put it.

If someone doesn't like you, oh well, there are others out there. Never change yourself for someone.

yeah but some of them dont.

I used to have that problem, always moping, 'the smart girl'.

Then I just started thinking positive and everybody changed they're attitudes towards me.

I also think nerds are cool, i don't have a problem with em. I'm just tryin to give some advice so people don't get miserable like I am

And I mean that I am proud to be who I am.

I can just as easily admit to being a geek to a girl and still have the balls to talk to her and ask her out.

Saying you are a nerd can be taken in many forms.

IE:

You are proud of it, and love to tell people, and you still have confidence.
You put yourself down and have no self confidence.

There are many more forms...I happen to be the former of those 2 I posted.

I never let em give me BS, most people here where I live think it's awesome when someone has something that they are really into. For some it's movies, or music, or computers, or sports. Everyone has their thing.

ummmm nah I reeeeally don't think it works that way.......I mean I can ACT as cool as I want...but it don't make much of a difference when I'm obviously gettin distracted by ninja turtle stuff in the toy section of the super market/mall/store.....
