Tarantino, Brosnan Want Royale

How about Uma Thurman as "the" villain of the movie.... that would work well with her "Kill Bill" persona.

Discos had a good point about the "timing signatures" of Tarantino versus the traditional Bond movies - I think that the linear chronology should remain in tact. After all, with QT directing - that in itself will be an adjustment for many fans (not saying it's good or bad - just an adjustment).

As for special FX - don't mind them either - they just shouldn't be the "whole" movie. How many people truly remember the Bond movies for the "compelling" or "memorable" stories!?

It's like "remember when that bomb went off in the....." or "remember when they narrowly escaped something-er-other"

sure she can be bad, but it shouldn't be cause of Kill Bill, that's a seperate movie all together

oh, Bond doesn't have a good storyline, but it's the mystic, the intrigue and of course the charm of it being a secret agent

Well, if you seem Vol. 2 noticed that the character of Bill possess some wicked awesome dialogues. Now, picture any Bond Villain giving that kind of dialogue in the movie. Is a perfect match! QT makes the bad guys look so good! If QT gets to do a Bond villain, I will go as far as saying that it will be the best Bond villain ever.

Considering the original casting of Royale, almost anything would be an improvement!

am i alone in thinking that QT would be perfect to direct the otherwise unnessecary 21st James Bond flick? Imagine it - great soundtrack, cool camera moves, iconic characters - perfect formula groundwork for a director like Tarantino.

He would be a "breath of fresh air" - AS LONG AS he tones down his usual graphic violence. THAT doesn't fit with Bond and the audience Bond is directed at. To "restricted" a film rating limits the fan following. Not showing so much blood and gore is part of what makes Bond classy - everything is CLEAN.

Brosnan: "Let Tarantino Make a Bond Film"

007 star Pierce Brosnan is desperate to make a James Bond film with maverick movie-maker Quentin Tarantino. The Kill Bill auteur recently revealed his ambitions to make a Bond movie, and Brosnan - rumored to be stepping down as the superspy after making his fourth 007 film - thinks he'd be fantastic. When asked what Tarantino would add to the franchise, Brosnan gushes, "Life. Hmmm... What makes me wonder is the timing of all this. QT will working on different projects like Hell ride, Inglorous Bastards, Vega brothers movie. It might take longer to see if he gets to do a Bond movie. Now as far as violence I think QT should increase it in a Bond movie. Maybe not graphic but more like the violance in the Sean Connery series.
