i think it was all good but at the end when vader goes NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! that done the movie and and i can see how it leads into the 4th one but the story line is totaly diferent but any way it is great.

1 word Scuse me

Everyone is complaining that Anakin turned so quickly. I believe that it's important to remember that he wasn't perfect at the start of the movie. He's been turning for a long time.

He slaughtered the sand people
He's hiding a marriage and his children
He's openly defiant to Obi Wan
He's had a friendship with Palps for years and Palps has been putting all sorts of ideas in his head.

The transformation has been taking place for years now not just in a moments time after Mace gets chucked.

Mystic, how right you are. Absolutely. Anakin has been leaning toward the darkside ever since he started to fall for Padme back in Ep II. He's had little sparks of hate and rage here and there, and yes, he sure does mouth off to Obi on occasion. The kicker (and real turning point for him I think) was when the Jedi Council would not grant him the title of Master. How incredibly stupid of them.... Anakin had to had known then that he would never earn their true respect and admiration. He already knew he was far-advanced in his skill (he saved Obi 9 times already), so hearing that from his mentors had to be quite a slap in the face.

Also.... I was thinking that it would have been nice to see Yoda's turmoil over Anakin. He was the one who didn't think Anakin ought to have been trained as a Jedi anyway back in Ep II, and this time, he had to have known about Anakin's tormented soul in their dialog exchange that one time. I would have liked to see more of that exchange personally, which would have also been more to the story of Anakin turning to the dark side. Anyhoooooo..... thanks for pointing that out.

"sorry" would have been more appropriate...

Liked:

-Sidious blasting Yoda into the wall with lightning & Yoda force pushing him back over his desk.

-The opening space battle.

-Minimal Jar Jar inclusion.

-The creative new clone trooper uniforms.

-Ian McDiarmid's acting (and Ewan McGregor's as well).

-Most of the new ship and vehicle designs.

-There were some really good ideas and moves in the duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan (except for the fake looking force-push contest where they both fly across the room via CGI).

-Grievous splitting his arms...also when he crawled like a crab and flipped into the wheel bike.

-Ani, Obi & Palp falling and swinging out of the way of the elevator.

-Some of the cheesiest love dialogue between Ani & Padme was cut, and some of the cheesiest battle droid lines were cut.

-They decided to leave in the shot where Yoda throws his lightsaber to stab a clone trooper.

Disliked:

-The voice of Grievous didn't sound as cool as in the audiobook, and the idea of having him cough and be sort of cowardly detracted from the character instead of adding realism to it. I wanted him to be more of a badass fearless general.

-The super battle droids look menacing but don't have voices to match.

-The dragon pen scene on Utapau was cut.

-The scene with Chewie and Tarful taking over a AT-ST walker and Yoda riding on a Can-cell creature was cut.

-Although Hayden's acting in the intense scenes was good, he didn't seem to try for more than soap opera quality acting in some of the more ordinary dialogue scenes.

-The intentional ambiguity regarding the hint by Palpatine that Anakin may have been created by the Sith.

-Padme, although pregnant nearly full term with twins is barely showing and practically skips across the landing pad to meet Anakin, rather than holding her back and waddling or whatever.

-R2-D2 jumping through the air when exiting the jedi fighters was a bad idea I think. Also all the agile "arm/hand" usage and zooming around that he does in ROTS doesn't blend in well with the slower Artoo in the Original Trilogy. I don't remember hearing Artoo make any uh-oh sounds in the Original Trilogy either.

-Palpatine's physical transformation being attributed to reflected lightning made for a quick and easy explanation, but was a little hard to believe. (Shouldn't it have tweaked Luke's appearance a bit in ROTJ if it could do what it did to Palpatine?)

-I'm not sure why the yellow eyes were necessary for Anakin (although they did look cool/evil in that shot in the Mustafar conference room). It's rather confusing to see how Anakin's eyes (but not Dooku's) turn yellow (like Darth Maul's are all the time) and then back to normal, but Palpatine's are first normal and later are stuck being yellow.

-I don't think the Tarzan yell by Chewie really added anything worthwhile in the way of humor or whatever.

-The scene with dialogue between Yoda and Qui-Gon's voice was cut, thus leaving people a bit confused about Yoda's mention to Obi-Wan of training from his old master.

-The Dagobah scene was cut. (I hope the DVD will have some of these cut scenes!)

-I wish they would've included a scene, even for just a few seconds, with Boba Fett in his armor and Aurra Sing and/or other bounty hunters.

Sidious had full exposure to the lightning for a prolonged time. Luke was shocked intermittently, with breaks in between. He got hit for more total time than Sidious, but never for a long a prolonged time.

I dislike this scene...

''Anakin: You are so beautiful!

Padme: It's only because I'm so in love . . .

Anakin: No, it's because I'm so in love with you.

Padme: So love has blinded you?

Anakin: Well, that's not exactly what I meant . . .''

Yup... that scene was awful.

She didnt even look that good in that scene.

I don't like it all that much but that's sortof the point lol.... when you love someone they look beautiful to you even if they are really gross 😛

Okay whoa, I never said gross. Just compared to the high bar she usually sets she looked rather meh. But I would still..............................never mind, excuse for a minute.

I just hated Hayden's performance in that scene. The wrting didn't help much though either.

no she wasn't gross it was hyperbole 🙂

The other lovey scenes didnt bother me, the first one after they land was actually enjoyable.

Yeah, that first one was very surprising... I enjoyed that too.

There did need to be some love scenes in there, it's very important to Anakin's fall to establish that he was very in love

I still thought Natalie dragged it down, but you could see real joy and frustration in Anakin.

Yeah, Hayden was great in that scene... Natalie coulda been better.

There did have to be love scenes, but they coulda been written better...

"Hold me like you did on Naboo... when there was nothing but our love..." ugh, awful!

Fitting that Anakin looked aggracated then 😛
