Lucas Plans Third Star Wars Trilogy!?

I can't find the page at Cinescape but here's a write up about the story from

Lucas has said he has an idea for a third Star Wars trilogy. It would be set about 88 years
before Episode I, would promptly feature Yoda and Lucas won't be directing.

Of course it's just an idea but considering Lucas has said he won't direct makes me
wonder if it just might happen.

I doubt it will happen although it might be cool to see yoda kill a sith.

I don't really think there'd be much point to it. Who really cares what happened before Episode I? It's not all that important.

It is merely more rumors.........

And they are going to be around for at least the next 20 years, so we better get used to it.

The more, the merrier. If they wanna make it, go ahead. We can always ignore it if it sucks.

And we would all go see it.

This new trilogy will feature prominently on just how the force decided to impregnate Shmi with Anakin. Thus all 9 films will be about Anakin.

From the earliest idea of a chosen one, to conception, to pregnancy, birth, early childhood, life as a toddler, up to Episode I where we meet him as a little boy, and...

you know the rest. 😆

Seriously, how could this tie in at all with Anakin's story? I thought that was George Lucas' original vision for Star Wars. If this rumor has any truth to it at all, apparently that little green friend from Dagobah is what Star Wars is really all about.

Instead of a space scene, episode -3 should star off with Midichlorians penetrating the egg.......

Not likely.....6 movies were dedicated to the rise, fall and redemption of Anakin Skywalker.....that is the story and the story has been told.
