Good points here, but how many of those 60s college heavyweights had Alis skill/attributes...? Or were they slow shuffling bruisers boxing at a college level....?
Ali at his prime had way more advantages than weight.... The reach/speed/resilliance AND weight being a big potential early night on the floor for Mr. Lee...

And Ali was very precise too....
And as calculated and precise as Lee definitely was, how calculated would he be while unconcious....?

Sure.... Sugar Ray Leonard even VS Bruce Lee (A much fairer contest)
Bruce all the way....
But 1967 Ali....? Naw.... Can't see a Lee win more than 3 times out of ten..... Maybe if Lee drove a truck into him or shot him or something.... LOL 😆

I was highlighting the fact that Bruce Lee masterd many domains. He was not just a martial artist, but a student of the physical condition of fighting and self defense. The man created an entire art and way of thinking.

How calculated would ali be when unconcious? I think you would agree that a fight is not decided by who is bigger and stronger. It always comes down to who wants it more and who is more skilled. Bruce lee is obviously far more skilled in fighting than Ali. If you would pin these two together in a straight boxing match with boxing rules then of course Ali would win. However if it were a regular fight, Bruce lee would take out Ali with one grappling move.
I would even wager to say that Bruce lee possessed a stronger force of impact. The man trained 12 hours out of the day. for his entire life.

So?
😑

Boxers to more extreme training(weights,running,jogging,push-ups,sit-ups,bench-press,etc)

Bruce's training was all of that to the 2nd power. Boxers train so they can perform in their career. They have periods where they do not train at all. Bruce's training and conditioning was apart of his life. Even during filimg of movies, Studios had to work around Bruces training schedule.

Boxers are one of the fittest people on the planet.

i never said they werent. I also acknowledge that a boxers conditioning methods are probably the most disciplined which result in a sculpting of the body that no other work out can give. I said Bruce Lee conditioned his body on a level that was beyond Ali's, and was also more consistant.

You people keep throwing that "Bruce is fast and can dodge punches" Well, so can Ali. Throw that out the window because when it comes to stamina and resistance Ali has it! The man got bombarded with punches from Foreman in Zaire and the man took it like a warrior. I seriously doubt that Lee would have that resistance as Ali did during the fight.

lee would know dozens of ways to beat an opponent....ali's primary weapon is his fists..thats it

Sure he can beat opponents but can he take a beating and still survive like Ali did in his fights? Nope, Ali tops Lee on that one.

ali's technique is to beat someone into submission. Bruce lee's is to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. Bruce thought a fight did not need to last longer than a minute. Infact after he fought the Chinese representitive of Kung fu, which was a fight that lasted a little over two minutes he began to train even harder and study more often.

That was Bruce's philosophy but in reality a fight of this magnitude between Ali and Bruce would last far more than 2 minutes. And like I mention before Ali's stamina/endurance was proven to be effective during his fights. Specially when he fought George Foreman. No way would Bruce Lee would survive that kind of pain.
