Her shield is formed from crossing her bracelets. Unless she clearly is shown to have a Force Field encompassing her entire body, don't bring it up. Or at least show me a scan, I'd like to see it for myself, or are you simply speculating?

What the Stalker did to her, would that count as a form of mental attack?

the same way Juggy does. The shield is passive when her bracers aren't crossed. Superman gets hit by attacks and he has a bio aura. It's comics.
Juggs turns on and off his forcefield.
Supes aura does block attacks but that doesn't mean he still wont be hurt by them.

Cain gets physically touched because his shield isn't on. It is actually rarely on, but when it is nothing has ever touched him or did damage.
