Consider them Pushed!

Two hits on Gallagher, one on Zaland- Andro remains lucky! Gallagher evades some.

Varm rolls a +3. Hit!

"It is you who shall fail!" he cackles, gleefully. "You cannot stop what has been started!"

Unexpectedly, Kathya breaks off the fight and heads out.

"Hurry!" calls out Zaland to you, Gallagher. "They're taking the Abbot out onto the ship!" He moves forwards and blasts down a Mook, then another.

And where would that be, Jelena?

(Force Dodge Varm, then Sword Whirl and Strike him. Ignore mooks this once. *Crosses Fingers*)

"Don't let them take off!" Andro calls out to Gallagher.

(Of course, on your way by, if you want to blow down a few mooks that'd be great.)

Gallagher narrows his eyes, and begins a straight charge of Blur up to Varm's third, and then Kathya's third.

Defend for defense.

I mean, not the Vault that we're trying to find, but the Vault that Volun had rigged with incindiary bombs.

That's easy, it's all around you. But you need to serach somewhere specific if you are ever to find the True Vault! Where could that be?

Can't Blur through this crate maze I am afraid, Gallagher! Some mooks may also interpose along the way.

(Just fight your way through, Galagher. Snap attacks at mooks as you go by. Work your way through, and stop Kathya.)

Andro continues his assault on the Synod Members, suddenly switching tactics and attacking Varm directly.

Down...
Follow the dark Side energy

As ever with the Dark Side, you cannot sense it properly. I shall repeat that I need a specific location.

Some earlier thought would have had a specific location in mind...

The area with the extinct plants from ancient worlds, where Jelena had her strongest urges to kill Volun and found the hacking device.

Andro, if you Sword Whirl, Varm will get another attack. Just Strike for now.

Gallagher will press on up to Varm's and Andro's third, navigating his way through crates with all due speed. Defend for defense against Synod junkies.

Sounds good to me. lets go!

The arboretum- good idea guys!

Heading down (with a hurried narrative that has not the time to be as detailed as miught have been nice) to the garden area, Jelena starts to search around the area where the device was first found.

It takes a while to find, but eventually a tiny black plate located under the Earth of part of one of the flower beds- disturbed, it seems, relatively recently- shows you your target; the locking mechanism to a hidden doorway.

The device attaches to the plate easily, but this time it is taking a long time tto work on the complicated security system- that system is also very large. It seems, looking at the readouts, that tis device had started work at this point already. Whilst working, it is stuick fast; you would have to wtihdraw the tendrils to pick it up and walk off again which could take a good minute or more. No good of you are hurrying away because, say, a couple of nosy Jedi were coming by; it would drop to the floor only after you had gone, and be lost.

After a few minutes, it is gone. A section of turf underneath you opens up, leading downwards, all security breached. The Vault is open.

Just waiting to see if Andro decides to go with Gallaghers advice.

(Oh, sorry. I guess I better, can't really afford much more damage.)

Gallagher moves up, immediately finding his way on blocked by Mooks.

Zaland is trying to head after Kathya, but Mooks are making it impossible to get through. he risks a super-snap, and +1 makes that a good risk; a kill.

Andro takea a sudden chance to Strike at Varm. He rolls +3, Varm dodges; that's a miss. Andro's impairment is making that hard. A Sword Whirl would have made it a hit and as Andro's plan was to dodge Varm anyway, giving Varm the next attack, the Sword Whirl would not have cost him any more- I am afraid the advice was poor and has cost a hit.

Varm puts a Fortune point into his attack. But he rolls -3; even the +3 added back by the Fortune point keeps that as a miss.

Now, my timng tells me that Andro's Sword Whirl would have actually gone in ahead of Zaland.

Bad guys hit Gallagher and Zaland.

(Grrr. *Tunes the voice in his ear out.* OK. Sword Whirl and Regular Attack Varm. Force Dodge him. Ignore Mooks. Galagher, take another shot at Synod members if you can.)

Andro curses his misfortune at missing Varm again. Man this guy is good! He tries to tune out the surrounding fray and concentrate on just the Priest. Flashing his saber in a blindingly fast pattern, he suddenly lashes out at him again.

You are getting close each time to hitting him, Andro, but he has good (non-force) instincts, and he is using the cover of the crates to good effect to stay just out of your reach. You keep trying to get around to him but a leg wound is making it difficult.

(Too late this sequence, but would Saber Throw do any better? In theory, I mean. I know it would be extremely risky though. Gallagher, I think we need to team up on this one. I doubt he can evade us both.

I have enough Force for a Push/Pull. I would like to yank a crate out of the way and then hit Varm with a normal attack, forgetting Sword Whirl.)

Annoyed and frustrated that Varm keep ducking out of his reach, Andro uses the Force to shove the intervening crate out of the way and moves in to take another swing at Varm.

Sabre Throw is much less risky for you than others- you can use your equally good Combat score to defend when Sabreless.

But at this range, what's the point? May as well keep trying to melee hit him.

Do bear that in mind for future, though.

I'll count that as the same effect as a whirl, btw. It was just a description in for effect. These crates are too heavy to Push/Pull anyway.

(Ah, I forgot about the Combat score taking over. Yes, I'll keep it in mind.)
