Unfortunately, Gathering and Blocking at the same time isn't an option (though you do automatically fight back against anyone who comes your way).
Twain starts to block in a professional manner, keeping you physically away from the ball, whilst Varm just tries to bow you over again. He's not playing viciously as such, just... determined.
The blue droid in the middle goes for a Gather, the other proceeds to your third.
The droids go for Varm and Twain, but with Evens wach, that is not enough for them to have an effect.
Twain rolls -2, and you slip past him, but then a +2 from Varm is a success as he shoulder-barges into you! You don't go over, but shoved to one side you can only watch as the blue droid closes to the ball; with a twist of his stick the ball is sucked into his possession.

"My word, no," says Skorzeny. "I was just putting into action a plan of Roan's. And I have good news! Volun will meet with me again tomorrow at 10am."
"Well, plenty! Artifacts from the pre-history of the core worlds- Coruscant, Corellia, Alderan, and so forth; millennia and more before they had space travel. Examples and samples of technology and personal wear from every major period of history, including every war that ever registered on a Galactic scale. The only remaining records of many once space-faring species now extinct. Parts of the original Senate chamber- parts of the original Jedi Academy, in fact, from its time on Ossus, though the Archives on Coruscant have more.
"The Vault contains everything from the cross-section of history from the entire existence of the Republic that is in some way valuable or requires extra protection- a Sanctuary inside the Sanctuary. The artifacts are all priceless."
(It's Alderaan, isn't it?)
"Thank you, Minister," Jelena says.
"See, I had a very disturbing premonition, not all of which I shall share with you, for personal matters...but...I foresaw us doing battle on the steps of the Sanctuary, I foresaw us as victorious...however...I noticed that General Kuylen was not present in my vision, which is unusual. Generals of Tasker's Crown always lead the charge."
"Also, Roan saw himself in what I am supposing is the Vault, while I noticed that he too had not been present; rather, I had noticed that he had vanished."
"My theory is that General Kuylen wants something inside the Vault, or wants something inside the Vault destroyed."
Jelena waits to see his reaction.
Surprised!
"Well, that's ridiculous!" he says. "If General Kuylen wanted something inside the Vault he has all the opportunity he already has to take it! And what could he possibly want?
"As foir battle... I don't think we need force powers to predict the possiblity of that! But as for your worries... it will be a large fight if it happens. Maybe you are just not where the General will be? I am sure he would have a very specific plan that you would ba a part of. He'd be enagaing in formation combat, something not well suited for you Jedi, though I am no tactician myself."
And he's not, that was just a very shrewd deduction. These people really are clever.
"As to where Roan is... there I cannot help you. Should the fight spread to the Vault... horrific though that idea is... I don't know why you would not be with him.
"Maybe you should make sure you are?"
"Yes, I suppose I should assert myself to remain with Roan and General Kuylen," Jelena says. "Though, I was sure..." She falls silent.
"Sorry to trouble you with my theories, Minister Skorzeny. You have provided a little help, which was all I asked for. Please do not tell anyone of our conversation, unless it is another of the Knights. I shall see you tomorrow."
Jelena will move away from Skorzeny, feeling simply ridiculous, to sleep and meditate aboard the ship until the next day.
