USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (JEDI)- Revelations

Unless Roan has something to say to Kuylen, Jelena is ready to move along...

"That wasn't good..."

Gallagher orders the Red droid in his third to block the blue droid in his third, before moving up to No Man's Land to Tackle the blue droid with the ball.

"Akron, you and the droids block!"

As you would move at the same time, would you prefer to wait for that droid to enter your third and Tackle it there?

Certainly.

As a note whilst I wait for Andro, Gallagher...

As has been mentioned, this is of course a game where Force powers are massively helpful. If you feel like 'tipping' the odds, a bit...

... then with so much whirling and wrestling and whapping going on in this game, this IS a scenario where you could cheat a bit and get away with it.

Just something for you to think about.

Much like Galder's podracing...

I will keep that in mind, Ush.

Would Blow be useful for a Tackle?

Yup. But a simple Push/Pull or Throw would probably have the most dramatic effect!

Oh really?

Gallagher will try a slight Pull then...

I meant on the ball! You can pull off ludicrous shots with kinetic powers- or make opposing shots go ludicrously wrong.

Just... be careful.

Oh, okay, didn't understand that for a moment...

(*smacks self in forhead* I totally missed the last line about the blue droid getting the ball. Perhaps I was mind tricked? And I was wondering about a few well placed covert Force powers. On the ball of course.)

Finally grasping what had just transpired a slightly embarrased Andro starts a furious rush for the Blue theif.

(Move into our third, and tackle the blue robot with the ball.)

Ok! Sudden dashes in the Hockey game! Blue droid is in fact passing to his buddy in your third. But damn-quick Andro gets to him first for the tackle- if he shrugs off the Block from Varm... which he does! A tackle is at +5 difficulty. Andro rolls... evens! Just short! You got into a good position but you haven't mastered the stick yet. However, this does add +2 difficulty to the shot. Gallagher runs into No-Man's land but his target is already taken care of.

Before Blue droid receives the shot from his buddy, a red droid tried to blick him,. Red roll +5... good shove! The droid is knocked hopelessly out of position and the pass totally fails, leaving the ball lose in your third.

In case you are wandering what happened there- you both targetted the droid with the ball, who stayed in No-Man's Land for his pass.

(which recently saw use at the end of ROTS, in fact)

On Cassillis, the sun is going down behind the Sanctuary as night falls.

"No war today, gentlemen," says Anaz, from inside the tent. He orders piquets to their watch positions, and others to their beds.

As you watch the dying rays of the sun wither away, you cannot shake your bad feeling, Roan. Much will depend on tomorrow. For a moment, the Sanctuary looks truly beautiful, framed by the gloomy sunlight. And then the light is gone.

You hope the Sanctuary endures better.

"Droid! Get the ball!" Andro bellows at the only team member left in their third. "Scroop! Back to the goal in case they recover." He's really starting to love this game.

(I'll stay put in this third for now, hoping to either recieve a pass, or interfere with Varm.)

Jelena joins Roan.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Jelena asks him. "Let us hope that our mission succeeds; we don't want to see this place desecrated with the scars of war..."

"That didn't go very well..."

Gallagher moves back into his third to Gather the ball, using a slight Force pull to get it away from Deel and the blue droid as he does so.

I still wanna talk to Anaz, I wanna find out more about Kuylen.
Do ya think it would be bad to ask him about his personal carrear or what?

Fine, ignore me! 😛

Do *I* think it will be bad? I'm not going to say!

Gallagher runs back for the ball, attempting a pull as he does so. A +6 is certainly a success in moving the ball, but there is no way he can do that subtley before Deel Gathers the ball, beating the Red droid to it.

(Ush, shouldn't Gallagher be back in our third?)

"Block, Droid! Block!" Andro calls out. He knows he can't get there in time, so he's going to wait until the ball is set free after their goal. Or to see if Gallagher can get there in time to recover a miss.

Yes he should, sorry.
