Xeth would like to see if he can trace their hyperspace trail, to see if it turns up anything that Xeth would find interesting.
Xeth is pretty sure that the new offensive capacity being displayed is with help from the Techno Union, though the why is still lacking.
Target...I have no clue, we'll have to dig that up!
The new offensive capacity pertains to those clues we found, regarding the lightsaber-like blows and marks, whereas it was a laser and not a lightsaber.
Before, the Cult merely had blaster rifles, I'm assuming. Also, they have stepped up the attacks, this one being the most recent. They used to do it every so often in a year, rather than every so often this week.
Guys, we are just talking ourselves in circles now. We know the weapon was not supported by a man, atleast not a human, which leaves to believe it was some kind of droid. It doesn't matter if the thing walked, talked, rolled or hovered those have nothing to do with the big picture.
They have a powerful weapon, we know this, if the thing is painted pink or blue has nothing to do with this problem. We also know that they are striking ships that are far beyond the reach of their planet so they must either have an out post closer to the more populated systems, or a larger ship that can support their fighter craft. Speculating about how the ships got to this location is pointless, since we will never know unless we get off this planet and go look. The only thing left to do here is plan our next move, and stop dwelling on minor things.
McClain, I almost like the way you think, except that I would be very unhappy if it turned out that they had a ship large enough to transport fighter craft.
Next move is to plan out means of tracing our good old Cultists and track them down. Marcus also needs to deal with what we do next, while Xeth and Renegades are more interested in how to suss the Techno Union involvement...
...which, technically, the other Jedi except for Marcus do not know. So keep that in mind while playin. 😉
As Kiu has the sensor logs, you have evidence of the nature of the Cultist's ships, and they are not large enough to have made that journey.
Therefore, Arken is right. These recent Cult attacks have been striking from somewhere else.
Considering the difficulties the Union would have to supplying to Charaeus itself, that's interesting...
