Hmmm. Well we're on a combat mission aren't we, why not go full on onto their planet?😛

"Definitely," Xeth says. "It cut straight through the bulkhead and cut down the men and burned into the floor before it went out of focus...I think it's some kind of droid, myself..."

"Of a more pressing matter, I believe that the Cultists did not attack from Chareus. They would not have had the fuel for such a flight."

Which concerns me, what were/was the nearest planet(s) where the 'HiJack' was being takes place at.

The Alzarians are in full agreement with you, Vlad! They think an attack on Charaeus is exactly what is needed.

"That's not impossible," says Kiro. "We have a sensor net that points out towards Charaeus. It's not infallible, but far too many of these recent attacks are coming in unnoticed. They may well have a forward base somewhere. it would be odd of them, though; it's only the fact that they don't live inside the Republic that let's them get away with what they do. Putting a base inside it is an open invitation for the Republuc to finally do something about them."

"Well, that is perhaps why we are here, Captain," Xeth says, with a slight grin. "Our mission is to bring an end to their threat, whether by eradication or negotiation, after all."

"We should try to discover where this base is."

Can Xeth make a check on the closest world to the attack?

"So a seige or an assault. To put the place down for good" said Vlad. Really, he was more of disturbed by the droid with the powerful laser. Could Cannes be supplying the Techno Pirates with these droids? Or maybe the Techno Pirates made it by themselves. Either way, they need to destroy it, keeping such a weapon would be too dangerous.

Yes, but it's Teradon, one of the other worlds under threat, and less protected than Alzarius. It's these smaller worlds that really have to worry; Alzarius itself would be an insane target for attack.

They can't be operating from a civilised world.

(Tidus, don't bring up the Techno Union...especially since Vlad isn't supposed to know about that...that is entirely Xeth's mission...)

What is the most uncivilized, closest world to the attack then?

Well, I think you did mention something about the Union, Xeth. Reagrdless, Vlad's instinct to destroy whatever this is is not unwelcome!

Well, that's a complex area, Xeth. There are a lot of worlds around. The literal closest is a gas giant, for example.

"We're very grateful for your presence," says Kiro. "We were worried the Jedi might see this area as one of ill fortune for them, and not come."

Yes, but Ush what about with plain Terrain? One which isn't civilised, however could support normal life forms.

"Hah! Nonsense! We are here, aren't we?" Xeth says with a grin.

And Xeth mentioned it to Marcus...but Marcus alone.

That sort of thinking certainly narrows down the options, Vlad. If you can get enough ways to isolate candidates, then good Pilots can try and get suspect planets.

You are also not finished with the ship until you identify the motive for attack- something the Renegades are more interested in.

Vlad looked up at the ship. He didn't do well on observing, or investigating. He knew that was the Renegade's job. He himself liked hacking computers and codes or just slicing droids into two.

Jedi don't believe in ill-fortune, you think to yourself, Xeth. Odd thing to say.

"There is no fortune, there is only the force" said Vlad trying to look like Marcus.
~Muahahahahah~

Hmm...

"So, you say the Jedi might have thought this investigation one of ill-fortune. Why?"

And by the way...Xeth would like Kiu to make the roll to narrow down the planet suspects. He has a skill of 13, and is our Renegade fighter pilot! 😄

I have a pilot of 11, is that a winner for lightsiders 😛.

As do I. Kiu has a Pilot skill of 13, though. He is more likely to find something.

I see. It's the same in my possision. 11. Roan is 13. Too bad he isn't with us on the Combat mission though.
