USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (RENEGADES)- The Hunters Hunted

You certainly could. It looks as if the droids are going to execute the Cultists.

...what the...

If I had left Alzarius out of it, would my argument have been good?

Possibly, but you may as well run with it now.

Vlad would jump out of his hiding spot in front of some droids and use twirl to cut them down.

Jedi to the rescue, eh Tidus? 😉

I seem to have developed the ability to bumble along, haven't I, Ush?

"He can help tell me what each shipment was, so that we can estimate the distances the Cult would have to go to attack, therefore revealing which planet it was."

"And we are unsure of what uses the Cult would have. Another reason why we must find this base."

I'll give it a day with Vlad- Marcus says he might be coming back now.

Well, maybe Yoda got started this way, eh?

"I'm really not sure," says the man. "I mean, how important can it be?"

Somehow I can't picture Yoda bumbling along...maybe confusing the hell out of everyone, but not bumbling... 😉

"An army, it is," Vera-Kin says. "I would think it would be for something pretty important."

(Um...why are droids leading Cultists around like prisoners?)

(Keep chiseling, Vera...)

Xeth has his arms folded and is standing beside Vera-Kin, looking between her and the man.

Vera, do you have either of Serenity or Orator? They could be decisive in this man trusting you.

Yes, I have Serenity.

Well... he still needs a little more convincing. He's hazy on what you are making out the consequences to be. He doesn't believe for one moment that the Naboo episode will be repeated.

"Oh, I find it unlikely myself," Vera-Kin says, "but what other use does a droid army have? If not because they could potentially use them for armed assault in their space attacks, then we should at least hunt them down for illegal possession of the droids, and find out who, exactly, supplied them, for the Republic has strict laws on these droids, after what happened to Naboo."

Fire? Fire? FIRE?!?

Well, if Marcus turns up later he can join in.

Vlad, bursting out from hiding. Droids acre crappy spooters and didn't see him in advance, but lacking Intrusion, Vlad is no ambusher and can't get the drop on them. As soon as he breaks cover he is spotted; it is actually a sharp, undergorwth covered slope down to the path and the droids.

Vlad gets to move first but it is three frames to get down the slope, and that's if you try and run it, which risks tripping.

Ok, Vera, you made your roll.

"Ok," he says, "but we'd better see results, or we'll be putting in a complaint."

He'll let you have the guy.

(Good luck, Vlad! 😄 )

"If no results there are, take full responsibility, I will," Vera-Kin says, resuming her kindly, grandma demeanor and walking to the man with Xeth, Densk, and Kiu in tow.

Xeth makes a quick bow and moves away, uttering a thank you to Master Vera-Kin.

"You saved our skins, Master," Xeth says, both mouths grinning and clicking with a sense of victory.

Xeth stands over the man, and helps him up. "Well, we got you your immunity, now tell us what we want to know. What were the actual shipments? Leave nothing out..."

Instead of running, can I use flying charge to both, to pass the mount, and to damage a couple of droids? IF not, can I long jump to get to the droids?

(Hah! Thinking like an Athlete, Xeth sends you cookies!)

Ok, that will do just fine, Vlad! You pull off impressive acrobatics and enter into the fray with a double kill! The bisected droids fall to the ground with metallic clanks.

Leaving 22 shooters at you, Vlad- I didn't move on in case you wanted to post a defence; after this, if you want to defend, remember to post it in advance.

Ok, Xeth and co, over the next hour, you get what you need from the man. Plan?

Well, Xeth wants to get information on what the shipments actually were coming from Alzarius, rather than the supposed 'tractor parts' and the like. Then, he wants to figure out a smaller range of planets that the base could be on judging on how far the Cult would be able to fly with these cargos on board.
