Xeth contemplates what finding the desalination device could mean, other than the fact that there has to be something here.

Xeth will continue looking for anything else, working upon the logic that glaciers are larger underneath the water than they are atop it, meaning that any entrance would feasibly go downwards inside it if indeed this is where the base is.

Now, this is the thing, Xeth- you are no engineer but you know that a glacier is a really crappy place to try and build a base into. Heavy engineering work, needed to create a base, would almost certainly damage the glacier beyond the point it was useful.

On top of, maybe, but inside? Yet, nothing to see on top of it. Odd.

And yet we find deslination devices to help the glacier increase in size. Xeth is loathe to think that there would be an entrance underneath the water, seeing as it would be damned near impossible to get to. But there's nothing up here.

Impossible for Battle Droids to use also.

But increasing the size of the glacier... that's an interesting trick. You know what the Union is like for showing off like that.

Yes, I'm quite familiar with it...the Union enjoys showing off almost as much as Xeth enjoys ruining their plans.

Xeth is so sure that this is the right place. Perhaps he could dig a bit into the glacier somehow, see if he strikes anything?

That's like digging into a mountain. You could spend a decade doing that and find nothing, even if there was something to find.

No, there must be a surface access. You are trying to track an army here, and you somehow doubt it has to mess around digging or swimming to get home!

Xeth will have the group spread out and cover their own part of the glacier, using Sense and Observation to find what they can.

Looks like it is going to be a long day...

Try using the ship scanners, Xeth. Maybe it will help...

Xeth will also bring out R3 to aid in the searching, unless this weather is damaging to his components or the terrain too unstable.
