Another ice storm is whipping up. And to your irritation, it seems to be buggering up any signals. Your comms range will be very short indeed. You'll have to stay within sight of each other, lest one lag and never be seen again- it happens in environments like this.

We should at least split into two groups, preferably Xeth and Vorn being one group (just to get Vorn into the hang of things) and Densk, Kiu, and myself in another. It would cut down on time it would take, at least by half.

And if one group finds something?

So much for that idea. Comlinks aren't working and visibility is low, and I will assume that shouting to the others will do nothing.

Not if you are nowhere near them, no!

Then I have nothing to add. Xeth's original plan of 'walk until we find something' sounds adequate.

No comlinks? how about force connections?

I'll go with the "search until we find something" idea. It's the only thing that I can think of.

Force connections are not very reliable. They are best used for cries of distress, rather than co-ordinating searches- and they work much better when you have strong personal ties with the person concerned.

What do you guys think enlarging the glacier would achieve?

(Bearing in mind, btw, that this is Star Wars science, not real science; the two have very little connection)

Enlarging the glacier would increase its volume which could allow for more of whatever to be placed inside or on top of the glacier. I'm not sure, but have we explored the possibility that there could be something on top of the glacier?

Enlarging it would, like Vorn said, increase the volume allowing for more space on the inside. It could also help make the glacier more stable due to the thickness of the ice.

Yes, but you can't help thinking that they would have just chosen a larger glacier for that... this isn't the largest there is.
