The camera, like all sensible cameras, is corner mounted and cannot be approached without it seeing you.

None of this will actually stop your attempt, but ti will make IDing you afterwards tricky.

But actually, I wasn't stating this as an event that had happened- it's just actually a problem you have indetified due to having Fix-It.

Hmmm. Well, in my experience (it being that I've worked in places that use security cameras and I've seen the screens), the images tend to not be very hi-def; they can be down-right crappy, in fact. However, Dak would tend to stand out a fair bit. I'd say that Rianna should disable them, but she's got no Fix-it skill at all, which would pose a bit of a problem -- she'd probably get frustrated and saber them, which would give us away in an instant. No good, that.

This could be a bit tricky...ummm...

My first thought was to contact the security center and ask them to disable the camera while I worked on it, for safety reasons, but any contact with them is potentially dangerous, and I'd probably need Savoir-Faire or lying to pull it off.

And I feel a desire to bash myself over the head as well...

Yes, definitely want to avoid to avoid any contact with them...that's just asking for trouble.

Hmmm....disable the camera, and if they question what happened, just say that you must have knocked something loose while cleaning it and that you'll fix it when you're done? Though they won't see you 'cleaning' the other cameras so that prolly won't work.....

Savoir-Faire's a 9 for me... fair enough, but still...

See, this is why it sucks to build a character designed to excel in combat, and be middlin'/ok in everything else. There's just never enough combat in the Star Wars universe. 😛

Anything I do to disable the camera, they have to see me before I can pull it off. Unless they shut it off first.

So the only choices I see are to just let them see me, or to contact them and have them shut off the camera. Both are dangerous, but I think talking to them is slightly less so.

Hah, at least Dak is good at something other than combat -- Rianna's good at fighting and sneaking around and that's about it 😛 definitely going to be increasing and buying more skills.

Anyway....you've got a point there - if you contact them and ask them to shut down the camera so you can clean it, they'll only hear your voice, and that's easy enough to fake and they wouldn't be able to ID you though that easily. If they get a picture of your face, though, that could be troublesome.

Okay, I'll give Rex and anyone else still alive until tomorrow night to voice their opinions, and then I'll go for it or change the plan accordingly.

Hell, Galder could do it, and use Savoir-Faire to give himself a disguising accent.
