gripping will kill him just the same newjak. all the powers you can use have the purpose of inflicting damage. and these guys being mooks, will just crack, once you damage them too muich, gripping pushing or sabering.
if you really want to take someone alive, i reccommend someone with strike to subdue to take the last action on one.

Tanic (who missed last time, which I forgot to say) this time blasts a foe right out the picture!

Despite his penalty, Galder is wading through his guys!

Lenikan- not sure which rocks you mean. I shall assume you are heading towards the ledge. That is a three frame move over, and then a three frame jump (which is quite impressive!). However, just as you get there, Rand kills the last one there!

Enemy firepower is greatly reduced. Only person hit this time is Tanic, who gave an illegal defence and is easiest to hit right now.

Butchering the few remaining pirates take no time at all! Now you move on, to the ridge overlooking the shield generator itself. They have nearly fully detached it!

As you can see- a small army of pirates has come to secure this generator.

Some are lying in cover behind a chasm, parallel the ridge you are on.

Past that chasm, in the rocks and trenches either side of the track, more lie in wait.

Past that there is a particularly big rock, that many are atop of, giving a good view

And then finally there is the shield generator itself, where they are lancing off the last of the support struts.

It takes three frames to get to each terrain feature, and then often more to interact with it (you would have to jump the chasm, not too easy, to sabre those pirates, for example.) Which means at a dead run, ignoring all else, the generator is 12 frames away.

Incidentally, on the east side of the track, the mountain runs out- i.e. there is a sheer drop down.

Gallador is furious. All those fouls would not listen to him, his words of wisdom! But now there is time for simple tasks, simple killing. And he is going to enjoy it. He summoned his Anger and Hatred towards those pirate scum and every other being in the galaxy that stands in his way.

Ushgarak, Hatred + Strenght from Fear, attacking near pirates, snapping attacks.

( When I am impaired, I will switch to defensive tactics, I might be offline then)

Just remembered Gallador and Rand are one force point lower this episode. Won't forget any more! But I will leave it until after this fight and they get their visions.

You guys want someone alive? I'll need somebody combat-capable to come with me to the chasm. Everyone else get to the generator.

I suggest Rianna gets to the generator, and Galder, Dak and Xavier go with her. Blur it all the way.

Lenikan and Tanic jump the trench, move along the track and kill those pirates, allowing Rand and Gallador to take the ones by the chasm.

Work together - if somebody only wounds one, then the other specify they'll kill them for their action.

Tanic wants to holster his guns. Then Draw, and blur to the chasm. Defend as defence.

Good advice Trick- though with sabres it is rare that a mook is hit and not killed. No supermooks in this crowd.

I agree with Trickster`s plan! Gallador follows Tanic to the chasm.

Well, presuming everybody else moves to the chasm and jumps it, Tanic does so too, then continues along the track to take out the pirates 'Alongside Track'.

But first holster pistols then draw sabre. Defend as defence.

Do we have to jump the chasm to get to the generator?

No, it runs parallel to the track.

I don't suppose Rand could Combat Push four pirates at the shield generator from his current position?

Those of you with ranged attacks go for the chasm pirates, unless you want to jump over there...

I would rule that as very tricky- an additional -2 to hit on each.

Oh, right.

Well if Rand and Takuan get about pulling pirates into the chasm, then Gallador can come with Tanic and Lenikan to kill the pirates alongside the track.

People with blur get to the generator - really my only constructive piece of advice, after the wounds thing.

Well Tanic blurs along the track and kills some pirates with his sabre. Normal attacks, Defend.

I will go with Tricksters plan. and Blur all the way to the generator. Defend for defence.

Reason I asked is cause he's got a pretty large friggin' bonus from Strength from Fear and Dark Emotions...

Galder runs and leaps over the chasm with Jump and lands next to the pirates, grinning maliciously as he had ignited his second lightsaber in midair.

If Galder can attack before defending, he will Spin attack three pirates, tripartiting each with his vicious spins of death.

Defend for defense, as always!

Wait, Galder - you're going across the chasm then? Not to the generator?
