Well, my views are different from the rest of the Christian church because I'm Mormon. And the prevailing Mormon belief (just what is believed by most members, nothing official) is that Jehovah is often believed to be God because it is the name used in the old testament, and everybody else assumes it is God, but Jesus existed in the spirit before his birth and spoke to the Israelites as Jehovah.

As for my belief, I do not believe that Yahshua pre-existed his birth.

The four letter tetragrammaton (Greek, 'four letters'😉 is the true name of the god of the Hebrew scriptures. Its pronunciation is considered to have great power, and is never spoken aloud, save for once a year, in the inner sanctuary of the Temple during the rites of Yom Kippur. In written scripture, it is given the vowel markings and pronunciation of the word Adonai, lord, leading to the common Christian mispronunciation of the name as Jehovah. In Judaism, the tetragrammaton is commonly referred to as "Hashem," The Name. One theory regarding the disuse of the Tetragrammaton is that the Jewish taboo on its pronunciation was so strong that the original pronunciation may have been lost somewhere in the first millennium. Since then, many scholars (particularly Christians) have sought to reconstruct its original pronunciation. For example, circa 1518 Christian theologians introduced the pronunciation Yehovah, which is generally held to be implausible, based on the written form that was used to indicate to the reader of the Bible in Hebrew to pronounce it "Adonai".
i been trying to figure out how to pronounce out loud the name.. the legend/myth goes that if one were to say gods true name he would not only get mad but it would imbue the person who says with great power.
in one of the old hebrew legends a woman spoke the name and she was transformed and flew into the heavens. iirc
The Ba'al Shem is a cabalic title for a Jewish mystic who knows the true pronounciation of the Name (through divine enlightenment through meditation or whatever). The Ba'al Shems were said to be able to perform miracles because of this knowledge by uttering the Name or writing it as a magic glyph for a spell.
The concept is 100% based on the fact that the true pronounciation has been lost, with 'Jehovah' and 'Yahweh' etc. being only educated guesses and nothing more.
Alright, it's time to let someone who knows what they are talking about answer the question instead of a bunch of people just googling jahovah and copy and pasting what they find. the correct way to pronounce it is yahovah. it's short hand for 'i am what i am' or 'eya asha eyah' in hebrew. you can say his name as much as you want. there is no sin. the fake jews created that law in the talmud. its an oral law that is very evil. Elohim doesnt always mean god. it can be plural and better translated as god and his children. any heavenly being can be called that as well.

oh and, just as islam is a corruption of judaism...
Islam is a religion built around the Final Revelation of the Word of God. It is by no means a corruption. Considering judaism rejects most of the holy prophets and their revelations in favor of traditionalism and nationalism, it's pretty clear that any corruption lies in THAT direction.

allah is just a corruption of the hebrew word for god elah.
Both of them are words from two different languages? Why would either be a corruption?

Yeah, you're about as witty as a syphilis outbreak. Don't let you ignorance over ride your ability to be taught. Not your fault you're stupid. Anyway, how hard is it to understand: His name is YHVH pronounced Yahoveh. Short hand for I am That I am. Consider yourself learned.
