Look. Here is what will happen if you think this place replaces the old. In a few months time, we'll have another lot of new posters who thaink that this place is nothing to do with them, and they will want their own place.

I have seen it happen many times before.

Bottom line is this- one social thread per area only, and that policy would need much wider mod consultation before being changed, as would the setting up of a new social area.

This area was therefore not set up correctly, and there is no actual good reason why you cannot just use the old one. They are just threads. Any difference is in your head.

Hence it will close. If you don't like that, sorry... but there you go.

I find it very wrong that I do not have any say in this. I am the forum specific moderator and I gave them permission to start this thread.

I have never once before seen Raz say there is only one social thread allowed per forum and only queeq is allowed to make it.

Well, that is the rule. And you should have consulted me before opening a new social thread. We went through an incredible amount of hassle after the Temple closed and decision making took a long time; that should not just be overwritten just like that.

It is obvious to me that if just one person doesn't like something then it goes. It wasn't "Ush's" idea so it was a bad one.

Please re-read my last post.

I did not know there was some rule about only one social forum. Therefore I did not see a reason for me going to you or any of the other Episode III mods who don't mod the Episode III forum.
