** Please Read**
I 'd just like to say a couple of things in which I Think I am enitiled to do.
First off I haven't been on KMC very long.
In fact I never really liked thread type forums cause they were often filled with hate fueled types who had nothing to say that was of any concern. However, With that being said. i think its shitty that that guy's thread got a little spammed. But that happens and this thread desrves a fair warning and now that has been warned. To each individual who causes chaos in another's thread with intention to do so be barred.
But dont dicipline the whole thread. I'll be honest ...this forum and especially this thread is the reason I return to KMC and especially this particular forum here in The Grill...
Its fun and I really hope that jelousy on behalf of the other socila thread owner is not the precursor for such an action as closing down the thread.

Ok, look, I won't close it now. But if we do end up with two social threads here, one will have to go, and whilst Raz is busy it'll be tricky to close queeq's place.
So if queeq's really does look dead in a few days time- and I am clear that no-one here pushed that to happen- then eventually the fact will become self evident and it can be quietly forgotten. If, on the other hand, it seems there is still enough support for queeq's to be viable, then there is no point in this thread.
But I still think that all that will happen is that in half a year to a year's time we'll have the exact same situation with this thread, and we'll be back in this pointless circle. I really do think you should have just changed queeq's rather than made a new place.

I am not trying to piss anybody off, but I dont see why eother one has to go. I am pretty sure you havent had any legitimate complaints. The reason we(big group) did this was to try and rejuvenate this place as it has clearly fallen off lately. And honestly I think it has worked. Of all the threads that should be closed this is at the bottom of list. I mean have almost half as many post in 3 days as queeq's got in 4 monthes, which I know you dont care about, but to everyone here that means something.

You have already made it clear that you don't see why either one has to go. But I have already mde it clear that it is policy that there is only one social thread per area, and there is no point arguing that futher. Experience over the whole boards has shown that allowing more than one causes harm. Sorry if you can't see that but that is what we think.
That being the case, if there are two social threads operating and both are viable, it would be the newer one that goes because it shouldn't have been there in the first place. Therefore I won't close this place ONLY if queeq's is actually dead.
And no- simple post volume means nothing at all, and anyone should be able to see that.

Exactly! Why can't there be two? Really? Does the world come to an end? And what if 6 months from now when this one is dead, someone creates a third? Is it that big a deal? Why would you even have to close one if it dies anyway. Just let it. I'm sure every once in a while someone would post in the old just because of the memories it has. I sure haven't said that I hated Queeq's. Lots of memories there also. 🙂
