Is Ill #3 out

Nope.

What are the issues where the JLA and JSA battle Amazo (who has most of the powers of both teams).

i've seen a couple of scans used around the place, basically they show the jla and jsa fighting despero, in one shot he's seen smashing superman and captain marvel's heads together, and then after hawkman attacks him he knocks him down too...

i'd just like to know what comic it is...

It was the last JSA, JLA crossover written by Geoff Johns.

= shit

Apparently Pre Crisis Kryptoninans weren't powered by the sun, does anyone know what their power source was ? 🙂

I was under the impression that PC Kryptonians were still powered by the Sun.

After-all, Superboy Prime = a PC Kryptonian, and he still needed Sunlight to power him.

the idea of Kryptoninans absorbing Sunlight was created by John Bryne after the 85 revamp. Originally the yellow sunlight only catalysed their powers. 🙂

I thought Superman's powers back in tha day were explained as a result from his superior Kryptonian physiology and the fact the Earth's gravity was a lot lower than Krypton's gravity.

They where originally, and then sometime in the 50's they where updated to 'Having power under a yellow sun', although they weren't specific about how or why. Bryne cam up with the idea of 'Living Solar Battery' that absorbs the suns rays. 🙂

who wins in this book ?

Was it even a VS comic?

Sort of ... it was Impossible Man Vs Mxyzptlk.

Impossible Man hassled Superman and Myx hassled Surfer, the contest was to see who could make the hero believe he was being annoyed by the other imp first.

Superman was first to be fooled, believing that Impossible Man was really Myx (who was attacking him disguised as the Super Skrull)

At the end if devolved into Imp and Myx fighting each other, constantly switching bodies, mimicking the heroes from their respective universes.

🙂

Well there wouldn't be any point in the wto fighting. Everyone knows the Surfer would win. 😄

Is that issue in which the Surfer returns the whole of metropolis from bottle size to full sizes. 😄

Are there any other amazing feats in it. 🙂
