Why the f*ck do writers treat the universe like it's so insignificant? I've seen way too many characters manipulate/create galaxies and universes in comics. It gets annoying. I seriously doubt writers understand just how large it truly is.

This is a nice video:

And yet, the contents in that video are only from our galaxy.

Darkseid's Omega Powers weren't so much retconned, [ie. their past showings are still very much canonical]...

They were however, drained from DS while he was on the Source Wall:

He better hope that Henshaw doesn't find out . 😖hifty:

I agree that this is getting ridiculous.

I can understand solar system busters are a sign of power...but dimensions/galaxies/universes/multiverses are on the verge of ridiculousness.

Especially with so many characters with this type of power.

Seriously, writers are getting ridiculous with these cosmic types.

Astronomers have identified a massive comet-like structure - spanning a whopping three million light years - that is tearing through a distant galaxy cluster at more than 750 kilometres a second.

Yes, you read that right. A great ball of fiery gas*, some five thousand million times the size of the solar system. Fortunately, it isn't anywhere near Earth. The flaming gas-ball is in the Abell 3266 galaxy cluster, even more millions of light years away from us than it is across.

Exactly. The universe is what a bullet or laser used to be.

Canon fodder.

I guess it didn't 🙁

What you fail to understand is that this giant fireball is merely the manifestation of zix, one of the lesser heralds of Stellarion the Universe devourer.

tsk, mortals...

What annoys me is that writers always minimalize the numbers.

For example when Nova was talking about the Annihilation war, he said "billions died".

Billions my ass, entire galaxies were ravaged. The number would be closer to quadrillions or quintillions.

Does anyone have thoughts as to what Captain Atom may have been referring to here:

[ie. what might his plans be for all those worldS?]

Wasn't he just talking about the multiverse?

I was more or less wondering what CA meant by this statement --- "So many worlds. Why shouldn't they ALL get a chance to live?"

srug

Well obviously this new crisis coming out is going to threaten the destruction of lots of these universes

What sells more in the U.S., Comic Books or Manga?

Question to X-Men Fans:

does this image give the impression that scott and emma were about to psychically sleep together?

i personally think it does, and is the beginning of scott and emma's psychic affair...

Well,Scott does start undressing...

I agree 👆

I get sick of that.

1) As if any immature human-minded character like Lucifer, Parallax, Dark Pheonix, etc. could really have dominance over an entire universe, or create one of thier own. The Universe is far too complicated for one limitted, immature, ego-centric human mind to create.

2) It cheapens the reality and majesty of a universe. In Lucifer, the universe is geocentric, and not very diverse. It all centers around human beings, angels, and the Christian concept of God. In reality, the Universe is FAR grander than that.

3) Other comic book companies, or rival companies, feel the need to create characters which can also create or destroy entire universes, to be on par with the other popular characters. It's fkn cheesy as hell and rediculous.

I am glad you brought this up 👆

NOW MY QUESTION:

Does anyone know what issue of Lucifer did he brush off Spectre ? I never got to collect it.

Lucifer's mind was far beyond a human mind
