Lucifer's mind was far beyond a human mind
Lucifer is far more intelligent than any human, however, he's not mature. He's a selfish, immature, non-content being.
His characteristics are still human. He is all too recognizable. And to be fair, he isn't that complex a character.
Ofcourse he has far more depth than Darksied, but he is less complex than Thanos. Even Thanos's mind, in my opinion, is no where capable to comprehending the entirety of the structure and entity of a universe.
Eternity, from Marvel, is a horrible embodyment of a universe. He's a greedy, mortal-fearing, immature weak-minded, flat character. He is by no means, complex, like an actual universe would be.
And you gotta admit....The universes in Lucifer are geo-centric. There is not much diversity at all, the only creatures that we are exposed to are humans, angels, and demons. Minor Gods and Goddesses, and that pretty much sums it up.
Crossgen and Negation did a much better job representing a universe, having it far more diverse with more going on, keeping even powerhouses such as the First on the scale of galaxy-wide influence.
Marvel/DC/Vertigo cheapens universes. An MU/DC/Vertigo Universe feels more like a solar system.
In Image and Crossgen, they made the universe far more complex, mysterious, and majestic, the way it truly is.
SPOILER:
In the newest Countdown to Adventure, Forerunner disabled the Nazi Superman with shards of Kryptonite that she brought with her from another universe. But I thought that Kryptonians were only affected by Kryptonite from their own universe? For example Superboy Prime wasn't affected by the Kryptonite from the Earth - 1 universe.

Writer error.

Is there anyone else here, besides carver9 and Phenomenol that thinks Superman can't exceed the speed of light? 😐I am getting so tired of their bullshit.
No, only ignorant people or retarded fanboys who deny logic would think he can't move FTL.
On that note, Sarutobi700 probably thinks he can't as well.
superman FTL?
Originally posted by Endless MikeI thought that in an issue of JLA that Superman himself said that that he can not go faster than the speed of light, but the Flash could. Somebody had to outrace a laser and Superman could not do it. I can not remember the issue. It all depends on the writers though because there are times when Superman seems to go faster than light and other times where he can not.
