Demogorge IMO, is a much bigger problem than Mikaboshi. He's the reason none of the elder gods hang out around earth anymore. He killed off most of them during his last rampage. His power is to devour gods and take their strength for his own. He's designed to kill gods/demons. Think of him as Desak taken to the ultimate extreme.

So what the hell is he doing on a team with other gods? 🤨

Even as Atum he slew tons of Elder Gods that mutated in Demon Gods... which makes it all the more interesting.

He can control it at times... but the better question is, what's he doing with such 'weaklings'?

Snowbird can become an Elder God, but yeah Atum > team

I called Demogorge first,thus i win.

Also,Ajak=F*cking pimp.

To be honest, that sounds awesome.

So I wonder will it be skrulls that are impersonating gods, or actually gods that the skrulls believe in 😖hifty:

Demogorge is obviously a skrull... baka

if the former, I'm gonna call this right now. if one of the 'gods' is Thor, expect him to make an appearence in that book or an upcoming issue. 313

durthor : "I SAY THEE NAY, SKRULL FIENDS!"

Supposedly they are actual Skrull gods. Which would explain why Atum / Demogorge was in the picture. I don't think Atum would bother showing up against a bunch of imposters.

That's what I assumed, but have you seen any interviews about this?

What issue in Countdown did Mary Marvel and Darkseid fight?

What issue did Darkseid and Lobo fight?

What issue in Superman/Batman did Superman remove Darkseid from the Source Wall and then he threw him inside it?

Question on DOTNG:
I thought Orion was supposed to overcome Darkseid? Whatever happened to that supposed fate, now that he is dead in DOTNG?

From http://comics.ign.com/articles/852/852785p3.html

Quote:
IGN Comics: The Incredible Hercules #117 solicits indicate that Herc and his crew are tackling Skrull Gods. Are we to take this literally, as in the Skrulls actually have Gods that can interact with the Marvel Universe and vice versa? Does this play into Brian's core plot or is it isolated to this series?

Brevoort: Sure, the Skrulls have Gods that can interact with the Marvel Universe—why not? If we can buy the premise that the Norse or Greek Gods are real and tangible, and that they can fight the Wrecking Crew or the Absorbing Man, then why shouldn't there be pantheons of Skrull Gods who can do the same?

This is an element that won't play heavily into the main series, but it will turn up in a couple of the tie-in series along the way. It was a way for Greg and Fred to bridge the themes they're working with in Hercules to some of the themes that Brian is playing with in Secret Invasion in a way that felt organic, and that could really contribute in a meaningful way into Herc's ongoing saga.

He killed DS once before. Maybe that counted.

That's most likely the case, or when the 5th world is created then maybe Orin will have another chance

Does anyone know exactly what powers Superman gains under a blue/white sun, and what issues this has been shown in?
