They aren't telling you to look through this thread. They're telling you to ASK in this thread.

^^

Yeah, no one is telling you to dig through every page of this thread to try and find the answer for a question you may have. They are simply telling you to ASK IT.

Even if it the question has already been asked/answered on previous pages of this thread, I doubt you'll get banned for asking it a second time. 🙂

Not to mention, previous answers could be outdated... or wrong. ermm.

Comic knowledge around here has increased from what it once was, so corrections to the truth are more likely nowadays.

I told him that. He simply became more confused.

Or more firmly established lies..... 😖hifty:

Look, I got it the first time. You guys know what points I was trying to make, again as suggestions and just to know for certain how and why things are done the way they are. If anyone wants to restate it over and over then go ahead and do it.

"Looking through thousands of threads" would be no different than the versus and respect forums. Those don't seem to throw everybody off do they?

Also, again I am a bit ignorant on all the specifics so I may as someone to fill me in if I am wrong, but the search function searches for titles of threads doesn't it, and not just internal content? If so, it would make searches for topics within comic questions easier to find so that someone would not have to ask the same questions over.

Again, I'm not trying to be argumentive or anything. I appreciate the helpful replies.

Hit "Advanced Search" (or options, or whatever. The advanced one).

You can specify what you want to search, be it titles or posts.

Default, I believe, is posts (which is why searching usually highlights the terms you searched in the thread itself).

Totally different.

Yes and I love how those links are broken down into easily navigatable and findable categories and specific threads. That's kinda what I was getting to, is there anyway to break down the questions section like that. I know the answer was "no" already, but that's where I was going with this. Those other links were very easy for me to follow and navigate immediately when I first found these forums.

There are a thousand varieties of a million questions to which the answers are in constant flux.

So, as you said, you already know the answer is no. Why bother asking?

Mediocre. Not overly good, or bad. Now Silver Surfer: Requiem on the other hand, is a really nice read.

imo of course. 🙂

I haven't read In thy Name but Requiem was excellent.

So I was watching Mindhunters the other day when it suddenly occurred to me that I have no idea just how powerful Martian Manhunter really is. Seriously. All I've seen of him is the Justice League cartoon series, the Justice League Heroes video game, and a comic where he almost gets killed by Despero. So seriously, how strong is he? Superman's level? Huntress'? Green Arrow's? Also, how can he have heat vision if he's pyrophobic?

He's dead.

Superman level strength.
It's not HV it's Martian Vision which seems to be some other sort of energy.
He has TP, shapeshifting and phasing as well.
