anyone have scans explaining how antarctic vibranium works? i know the gist how it works from reading various links - i'd just like to actual see comic scans, is all.i'm also wondering if it has affected adamantium, and/or vibranium on panel? scans would be nice, if at all possible.
Here Justice explains what it does:
And here it is used against a solid adamantium Ultron:
Note that it doesn't seem to affect Thor's hammer at all.

Another pokey question if you will....what showings do we have to Magneto manipulating adamantium? I've heard he rips some out of Wolverine. What else if any? Can he reshape it and manipulate the chemical bonds and stuff, or just damage it via extreme force?
This is what happened with Wolverine:
Which led to Xavier mindwiping Magneto:
Which then led to the creation of Onslaught ... so basically the whole Onslaught story line is Wolverine's fault for attacking the one guy he really shouldn't be fighting.

The one with the (old) New Warriors is Avengers V3 #13
The Ultron scans are from Avengers V3 #22, which is the end of a 4 or 5 issue Ultron arc.

It is, but it's enchanted metal.
Originally posted by Scooblesssweet, i have all those issues already, lol. iirc, wasn't #22 the issue where tony devised a way to vaporize an ass load of secondary adamantium Ultrons'?

Sort of, iirc he took the device from a destroyed Ultron that allows them to manipulate their own adamantium bodies (that allows their adamantium joints to move and stuff) and supercharged it to dissassemble them.
Originally posted by Prime#when they first started battling, ion did well against prime [who had just been in a huge battle with pretty much every hero in dc] - but saying he went "toe to toe" with him is a bit much, as ion was ultimately owned to the nth degree.
About how strong is Current Ion?Seeing as how he could basically almost go toe to toe with SMP, but recently he was punked by Mongul with his yellow power rings, along with several other prominent GL's
anyhow, you have one occasion in which kyle says that even when he was ion, he could not have pulled off some of sodam's tricks [or something along those lines]. so there's that, i guess.
to me it boils down to one thing. sodam was a brand new gl when the ion powers were given to him. he barely had enough time to scratch the surface of his gl ring - let alone the friggin ion powers. so imo most/all of sodam's losses boil down to him being an inept rookie, making 'greenhorn' mistakes [ie. hardly using any gl powers against prime].
that being said, it's somewhat impossible to accurately gauge him at this point - as he really has no clue what the hell he is capable of doing.
