Orion's self-titled solo series would be a good place to start where he's concerned. As for a general New Gods starting point, I'd recommend "Jack Kirby's Fourth World".

He used to destroy sentinels with mindblasts in the past though. Oh and Ultimate Xavier does have telekinesis, I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, Ultimate X does. Also, I thought that there was speculation about X having TK as a latent, untapped power in his genome, hence why Cassandra Nova got access to that power and more when she copied it... but I could be making shit up.
