Well that's stupid. uhuh

Hello, this panel is from Hulk 440.

Which comic did Thor lost his powers?

This is from The Demon v3 #5:

Is this Lucifer Morningstar?

For a creature such as the Hulk, brute force is the only plan possible! 😂 You are a genius, Thor. Now I know why he refrains from using exotic powers on him... that plan just wouldn't work, only muscles can win!

Was 52/WW 3 Black Adam amped? If so, can someone post the scan or tell me the issue where that was stated?

Seems like it. Same type of font was used in his text bubbles...

Yeah I just realized it was him because he referenced this incident in Sandman. He was just ****ing around with Etrigan.

I read somewhere that while using Venom Bane can lift up to 35 tons. I think it was in the DC comics encyclopedia 2004. Can anyone confirm or refute that?

i got a question.....

now everybody knows that in comics super heros are for the most part muscular and such. so why not in the movies? they should use wrestlers to play superheros i meaan they got muscles and they do act on a physical level. so why not?

Well most wrestlers suck at acting for one. Also having muscles alone isn't enough, you also have to look like the character. There aren't many wrestlers that look like Superman for instance. It makes more sense to get a good actor to hit the gym a lot than it does to try to teach a wrestler to act.

I hear that if they make a Captain Marvel movie though that Duane Johnson will play Black Adam (because he looks exactly like him but for the pointy ears).

It doesn't say 35 tons, however it does say the Venom gives him monstrous strength... Also I checked everywhere it mentions his name and nothing else came up about his strength. 😎

Here: http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Strength_Scale is where I saw the 35 ton thing. It includes a supposed reference to the DC comics Encyclopedia.

But if you've read that very same source and found no such information then I'm left to believe that the folks at the wiki made it up.

Its mentioned (in the same wiki) on Bane's own page where it states he can "exceed his 35 ton limit but at the risk of losing control of himself". This is unsourced though and seems curiously unsupported.
