While I can't with any certainty say it was one way or another, I do know DS oneshotted Surfer in that story. 😛

Personally I take that as "the bracers aren't stopping enough of the impact," since they looked unharmed while Diana was getting pretty beat up.

1.how powerful is the destroyer armor with just one soul?

2. if thor becomes warrior madness (x10 strength) would kurse become 40X stronger than normal thor?

1. With just one human soul, it has outright killed Thor. Unless you have the Desak/Designate or Skyfathers imbuing it directly, it's power appears to be the same whether Balder, a human, Sif, Loki, or anyone else inhabits. IMHO, it makes sense that more souls make it stronger but that hasn't really happened outside of the Skyfathers and Desak/Designate.

2. Kurse's strength isn't directly tied at all times to Thor's. Kurse wouldn't get weaker if Thor got hurt. At one point, Kurse was just made to be 4x stronger than classic Thor by Beyonder.

Nothing was ever mentioned in that story regarding how/why Galactus was able to tank the OE, he just... Did.

actually, there is some added benefits to having a soul/mind capable of combating the savage instincts of the destroyer, thor and loki are capable of this and it made them invincible as well as retaining all their other abilities. (thor famously put his adornments on the suit)

In Dr Strange Sorcerer Supreme 44 (I think, I'm sure that it was during the Infinity War arc) I recall Galactus being knocked down by something while inside of his little ship and Nova saying "free!" after breaking free of the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak. I've read the comic myself, but I don't have it any longer. So, I would appreciate it if someone could answer my questions: 1- How did Nova get released? Was she allowed to be released by Cyttorak or did she break the bands herself? 2- How was Galactus knocked around? Was it by Cyttorak or some other thing?

Anyone know?

What about the Galactus-Darkseid: Hunger story? Seid wasn't able to affect Galactus because he was essential or something IIRC. I know that's not canon, but doesn't that apply to canon Darkseid as well?

They didn't say anything about it. He just tanked it then blasted Darkseid down.

Yeah I had that issue somewhere. G's ship got caught by the Crimson Bands, and the impact of stopping knocked G and everyone else on board around. G send Strange and Nova to check it out and the bands let go and went after them instead, or something like that. Cyttorak or Juggs punched out Nova and Cyttorak put her in the bands. She broke out of the bands while Juggs was fighting Cyttorak and stealing the gem off his head.

Do Thor / Ares / Herc ect have the ability to empower humans or choose a champion, like the Panther / Spider gods do?

Haven't been shown, so no.

On the other hand, Athena (Herc/Ares sis) empowered Cho (the azn kid) as prince of power.

Thor can, he choice Eric as his stand in and granted him back his thor powers by touching him and commanding Mjonlir.

Hercules, didnt he choice most of earth heroes as champions and gave them flight and the ability to survive in space?

standard Hercules i can only see prior to upgrade along with Ares choosing a champion by name and unable to bestow grant their powers.

also question why dont the gods especially herc and ares and the asgardians seen using their teleportation on panel since it is an innate ability that all gods possesses allowing them to come and go from earth their home dimension.

👆 I very much appreciate.

Next question; is Thor: Ages of Thunder canon?

when galactus eats a planet what exactly is he eating?

pretty sure its organic energy/life force of the planet. he sucks it dry.

of all life from grass, water, core heat, oxygen molecules just about every element using his elemental converter to expedite the process.

he leaves behind a dried up husk the falls apart..

i am sure some one else can explain it better.. i was wondered why doesn he convert the earth like material of rock/silicon and leave nothing behind.

In Chaos War Surfer suggested that Galactus could have sustained himself on an uninhabited planet, so I'm led to think that inhabited planets are just tastier.

Which leads to a bigger question, if Galactus just needs a source of energy or matter why doesn't he eat stars?

why cant he just absorb it from space like surfer does 😬

pretty sure its bn brought up in comics and he has but he requires "organic energy" as well.

dont hold me on it, too lazy to comic search for it

Galactus can only eat planet's that have the potential to hold life, be they inhabited or not.
Think it was specified in a Surfer comic at one point...
