Hey ever one this is Black Bolt Z's brother. I, like him am a huge comic collector and between us we share over 1.5k comics (thats quite a few for a 14 and 15 year old) and are still on the hunt for more. I am just wrapping up my collection of 139 web of spider man comics including all annuals with only one issue left to go. It was certainly fun going on the hunt for so many issues and getting them for the right price. But now I face the issue of what to collect next. I almost 100% a marvel guy and would prefer to stick to semi-long series of marvel issues. I have a small collection of "What if.." volume one and two going but want to start another 100 something issue collection that feasible where I can get all them for not to much. If it helps any my favorite series is Fantastic Four and I wouldn't be interested in X-men stuff hardly at all (barley have any (yet)). I also like the older stuff, 90% of our collection is 60s-90s stuff. So if any one could suggest something I would be most appreciative.

Is there any off series you would suggest? I dont have the dough to hunt down journey into mystery stuff from the 60's...
Art varies from pretty good to crap. Stories vary wildly from good to humorous, interesting to bizarre to boring to crap - covering supervillains, horror & supernatural, sci-fi - all sorts of stuff. Highly variable stuff but with tons of guest stars and some good fun. And surely the Defenders must be cheap. I can't believe any of those issues except maybe the early ones are worth much - but maybe I'm wrong.
Micronauts - around 60 issues. Well, I liked them anyway!
Tomb of Dracula - around 70 issues. Drac, intro of Blade etc. Starts off slow but the art and stories get a lot better as it goes along and changes artists and writers - but could seem dated by today's standards.
Guardians of the Galaxy (90s) around 60+ issues. Some fun stuff with the original GoG team. Very 90s art (ie not that great but OK) and stories. Not sophisticated in any way at all but it could be fun sometimes, with odd stuff like the Keeper (Surfer with Quantum Bands), Son of Thor, Hollywood etc. Must be cheap surely...
Avengers West Coast - 100+ issues from mid 80s to mid 90s then morphed into Force Works. On second thoughts most of the run was actually pretty pointless crap so I wouldn't recommend it. But I did find some of the run from around #40-60 interesting - death of the Vision, return of the original Human Torch, intro of the Great Lakes Avengers (Mr Immortal etc), Magneto, Immortus, Acts of Vengeance.
Captain Marvel v1 - 60+ issues, variable quality. I wasn't that interested in the early ones. I liked it more post #20 where Starlin was coming in with Thanos and big cosmic stories. Some of the later stuff with Claremont and others was OK too. If you like that sort of thing.

I found early Captain Marvel interesting, but maybe I was reading Strange Tales or something else.
