1.) Reed acquired all of the infinity gems in Illuminati #2, then gave each member a gem to protect at the end of the issue.
2.) He stole the reality gem from the Inhuman city 'Attilan', and used it to steal the power gem from Reed's lab.
3.) Absolutely. Chaos War is a prime example.

He first acquired the power gem from She-Hulk (who got it from Titania), then used it to find the space and soul gems. Then those gems were used to find the other three (with the Illuminati's help.) They were able to find the gems because each one is sentient, and can actually 'tell' you where the others are.

If you're curious, that all happened in Illuminati #2.

If I recall correctly, he was born 'eons' ago. Though I'm not too sure on whether they were actual eons or not; could be just an exaggeration.

But he's surely over a few thousand years old.

I'm pretty sure he did get the space gem.

Because I asked in here if BB had the space gem when he fought Vulcan so could he have teleported out and someone said he left it on earth before he left.

Although I haven't see proof of this. I also don't know who currently holds the space gem.

Per the end of Illuminati #2, BB possessed the space gem, and Tony possessed the reality gem. That's why I too was a bit confused as to how the reality gem ended up in a deserted Inhuman city...

We don't know where the space gem is at this point in time.
