Comic Book Questions

A single Quinjet alone costs Stark like 20 million and the Avengers go through like 10 of those a week.

And recently he just hired Shi'ar contractors to build a Dion Sphere around the Sun which in terms of resources would cost a downright ridiculous amount.

At this point, I think Stark is beyond normal figures and just prints as much money as he wants.

Sup guys, I dropped comics before the Age of Ultron crap. Can anyone direct me after Ultron? I heard there are two logans now in 616 and Galactus busted ultimate universe? confused >_<

*dyson sphere*

Orders of magnitude beyond the combined economies all ALL the nations of Earth.

Which is why an official figure of just 9.8 billion dollars sounds so ridiculously low. Either that, or it's the business equivalent of Hyperion's high-end feat.

Shut up nerd.

The Forbes list was probably basing it off the movie version.

Alien X from ben 10 where is it ranking on the comic book hierarchy?

Hey guys, quick question...

Generally speaking what comics are more adult-oriented, marvel or dc? I know dc has its brand of adult oriented comics, but I am speaking generally (I.E. large general storylines) and the type of words and content that is used .

thanks!

Neither company really; it depends more on the character, I would say. Some characters are written with more adult themes in mind.

For example, Batman is somewhat darker than say, Teen Titans or Avengers.

ah very true. I guess I should ask which characters are more adult oriented

You could say DC have the greater quantity of those mature titles, considering how many titles the Batman like now has, the reintroduction of the Vertigo characters into the DCU (under the dark line), and a lot of the stuff under the Edge line as well as notable titles like Wonder Woman which haven't typically been too dark as well as smaller titles like Green Arrow. It helps that some of the most influential writers like Jeff Lemire and Scott Snyder and some of the better writers like Briaz Azzarello have backgrounds in horror comics and have worked extensively at Vertigo. The better DC titles of recent years have also been the more mature ones imo; stuff like Swamp Thing, Animal Man, Wonder Woman and Batman.

I have a question.

I have seen the scans of Thanos stating that he has Dr Doom under constant surveillance. My question is, did Doom eventually figure out that he was being watched by the mad titan? and if so anyone know what comic it's in?....just very curious.

thanks for tthe response. What about in the New 52, which are the mature titles?

Who was capable of breaking/surpassing Magneto Shield in the comics ???

I can only remember two ocassions:

1 - Photon

2 - In one of firsts X-men Storys, Ciclops breaked the force field, with help of Xavier Machines (to find a breaking point).

Beside that, he ever was affected by anything, inside the force field ? You can count any types of exotic attacks (like TP, Matter Maniupulation, etc).

What other times has Wolverine lost his healing factor?

Did S.H.I.E.L.D. 5 & 6 ever come out?

^ Not yet. Hickman's been too busy with Avengers-related stuff. Weaver is supposed to be working on the issues himself. But there hasn't been an update in a while.

Thanks. 🙁

Legion level.

Question for the cosmic and mutant experts:

If the Death Seed was ever bonded to a Celestial, would that boost the Celestial's power levels by the same ridiculous magnitudes that it does for every other person that has ever been merged with it?
