he is correct. you need to do some real research on this. and for the last time dude, paedophile IS a mental problem. there are no mentally sound paedophiles. really, is this up for debate? its not about your experience (which i would LOVE to hear of) or KD's knowledge. its been studied to death and KD is quoting valid statistics. just as most women who are raped previously know their rapist, the same goes for child molesters. thats just the way it is. of coarse there are exceptions and outright flukes, but you claim geographical differences and there is none.

He lives in a completely different country to me, laws and people differ. As do the way those people act.
He's not correct for every case of paedophilia quite clearly because I'm proving him wrong by stating what most cases of paedophilia in the UK are, documented. I've seen LOTS of documented cases of paedophila and I've read about ALOT of cases. It's extremely rare where I'm from that a paedophile stalks a particular kid for years. A huge bulk of the documented and serious paedophile crimes here aren't known, they're abductions. You only need live here to know that.

I also said that such a paedophile will devote a certain amount of time to nuture that relationship as to provide an opportunity.
And how can I be proven me wrong that most cases are not documented in the UK when all the undocumented cases are, by their very nature, undocumented?

Yes, that is often the case here in America and Canada. Most people who commit pedophilia are often friends of the family of the victim, and are trusted, that's how they are able to get near the kid to begin with. Most of them aren't violent kidnappers who pick kids at random while they're walking down the street.

Guys you are discussing about trends and stuff that's OK, but I wouldn't grab statistics in order to absolve Michael Jackson, because He is not an example (or a sample if you want) of common people. The same could go for anyone famous.
About the point, it could be easier for him to stay with few victims than meet with several kids, I just don't know.
