Mace was trying hard againts Sidious who was trying to loose on purpose in his office, then go forward when Sidious was fighting Yoda in the senate look how fast and powerful Sidious was when he was fighting Yoda, If that would of been Mace in the Senate Mace would of got his ass kicked so fast

if he had being doing that he would have raped mace. I think he underestimated windu's abilities and it bit him in the ass. then when anakin showed up when he was lightning mace it was obvious he was faking....

look at what he was saying "ohhh im too weak, please dont kill me.."

then 2 seconds later he snapped back and unleashed insane lightning effortlessly, he wasn't tired or weak.

i just think he underestimated windu's sword abilities and it bit him in the @ss

mace didnt have him, if palps had wanted too he would have just unleashed his full force power on windu and windu could do nothing about it. palps is far superior in force abilities.
