naturally routing for the home team, i think its the greatest country in the world. i think the current administration is the scum of the universe...along with 90% of politicians...give or take 10%.
but this is a democracy, and what the people want, the people get.
unfortunately, half of the people dont want the bother and hastle of dealing with the confusion of politics and would rather just believe what they are told, even if the blatent fact is the opposite. and pointing out of holes and flaws with a wish to improve the current state is singled out as "anti-american" as im sure any german citizens who questioned the nazi party before and during ww2 were labeled as anti-germans.
plus, people want to feel safe and secure, so they are so ready and willing to give up everything our forfathers fought and died for, and what our soldiers signed up to fight and perhaps die for. tso many people are willing to blindly allow our own flesh and blood to be thrown into a meatgrinder without a clue as to what it would accomplish...so long as our blood lust is satisfied and maybe one day we will all feel that the victims of 9/11 are avenged...when in reality everyone directly involved in it are free as a bird and without a care in the world.
there is a battle between hypocrites and realists, not dems and reps.
every day that goes by brings more and more evidence of a corrupt and reckless administration. every day drives a wedge deeper into the republican party, separating the hypocrites from those who honestly care about their homeland. before you know it, the blind majority will be the blind minority, and will not fall for bipartisan distractions, will not flinch at the word 'unpatriotic' and realise that their duty is for the people. its happening now and will continue to happen. im confident that there will be at least a happy ending to this nightmare.
